The property was perfect! The owner was very responsive and very lovely to communicate with. We enjoyed the home and it was perfect for my friends and family.
We were in the area for a large family gathering and rented this property for my immediate family to stay. We are a group of nine, young adults to super seniors and needed plenty of space and sleeping accommodations, plus a single story house for my parents to be able to manage with mobility issues. The property is tucked away and might be hard to find after dark. Directions from host were good!

Mixed Feelings on the Stay
Please read this entire review. The house and location are very nice. The dirt road can deter some, but worth it. Our experience overall was OK. We left the host with 2 pages of items we felt they could work on. The low rating is due to 3 major items of concern for us, out of the list of issues we left . All three showers had mold. Both shower curtains had the pink mold and in my opinion not just a little. The master bathroom had black mold in all of the caulking where the shower panels connected. To me these are unsafe and/or unsanitary. The second issue was the ovens were not cleaned. The third issue was the amount of dirty dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and the amount of cracks and chips on the plates, and cups. We called the host, 2 hours after we checked in and he called us back. He came over and cleaned the ovens, sweep the eves so there were no cobwebs and dirt from around the house. He said he would address the other issues for the next travelers. He did not clean or replace the shower curtains. We took the curtains down and place in a garbage bag and left them in the shower when we left, so we could use the 2 showers. The house is older and very spacious. The kitchen is very large. We have stayed at VRBO's before and a plus with this host, is they provided many towels, dishes, pot and pans and other items. Other VRBO's in the past, only provided the number of towel, dishes, etc that the house listed for. We were a large group at this one.
Family reunion, very close to the reunion site, was just one of the reasons this was five star for us. Many spaces for small group conversations and lots of space for whole group conversation. Kids enjoyed ping pong table. Kitchen was outfitted generously with all we needed. Was a wonderful gathering place. Fountain on front patio offered calming respite from all the activities. Will rent again for next year's reunion.
Top bunk beds are not Available for adults. 5 bedroom is a sitting area with a couch pull out bed.
The property exceeded my expectations. Our family was comfortable and content with accommodations. We had three family members cook in the kitchen and enjoyed the large space. There are folding chairs available to add seats to kitchen table.
