Needed a place for guests to stay for my retirement party. It worked perfectly. The cabin was very cute, and the host was easy to communicate with and very helpful.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. All the deer and elk are really cool to see and feed! We hope you stay again in the future.
Loved our stay here! We had two families stay here together and it was perfect. Kids had the upstairs and the adults stayed down. Loved the proximity to the Mohawk hiking trail, 300 yards! Kitchen was well stocked and we loved the coffee bar! Can’t wait to come back!
We had a absolutely fabulous time! The accommodations were perfect! We were a small group trying to get work done and it was the best place to do it. We even had a great time feeding the dear. Would definitely stay here again.

This home was absolutely perfect! Large enough for 3 families and our dog! The home was clean and had everything we needed! This was a very comfortable stay and highly recommend! The owners were quick to respond with any questions and the number of elk that come straight up to the balcony was truly incredible.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We hope you choose our home to stay again!!
We had such a wonderful experience at the Pine Edge Cabin. The cabin was clean, fully stocked and even had a Christmas tree upon our arrival. The cabin was spacious. Plenty of room for our family of 11, including our dogs. The elk coming right up to the deck was such a joy for us and our kids. We had an amazing time and made some wonderful memories here.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you stay again. Make it a tradition every year!! Glad the wildlife made an appearance!
We had a fantastic stay over Christmas. The property backs directly on the the hillside with deer, elk and javelinas roaming the neighborhood. The cabin is cozy and has a recent remodel. The beds were plentiful as were the copious snuggling blankets around the house. Plenty of TV’s if you want them and solid internet. The kitchen was the best appointed one we’ve ever seen at a VRBO property. Pine is a sleepy little town, making it a perfect place to wind down. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This is the perfect street you want to be on in Pine. Backs the forest and a few houses down there is a trail head for a gorgeous easy hike even my 86 year old mom could do carefully. My only negatives were some policies felt a bit cheap considering you pay a fee per person like not providing enough dish tabs or ensuring propane for the grill. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay here and I recommend it to others.

Thank you so much for your kind words. We are so glad you enjoyed your time at our home. We have in the past left out the original package amount of dish washer tabs, toliet paper, laundry pods, trash bags. The problem is not everyone is as respectful as you and your group were and they take everything home with them. As for the propane people have brought up empty tanks and switched them out with our full ones. As unbelievable as it is again people are not as respectful as your group was. Two weeks before your arrival all three tanks were filled. So if they were all empty then the guests that stayed the weekend before your stay either switched them out with empty ones or purposely emptied them. As an STR Host you would not believe the things people do that are disrespectful and feel they are entitled to use up everything in the home because they paid to stay. In all our listings and even in our guest guide that was sent to you we clearly state that we provide starter supplies and do not guarantee propane.
A relaxing weekend to unwind! This house was perfect! The location is great, close to town but far enough away to feel secluded and peaceful! There is nothing that could improve in the home. They thought of everything that you could possibly need, it was immaculate and perfectly accommodating for our party of 8. We had a whole room to spare. Our favorite place to hang out morning, noon and night was the deck. The elk came every evening, already planning our next get away.

We are so glad you and your friends and family enjoyed our home and your stay in Pine. We can't wait to host you again!!
Property is beautiful inside and out. Stayed with a group of 11 women ranging in ages 50 to 68. Had a fabulous time. Well stocked kitchen. Abundance of blankets, pillows, and linens. Ample comfortable seating inside and out. Wish it was cold so we could have used the fire pit and outdoor heater.
Our stay was over all good, with a few items that I feel could use some improvement. Location is great, lots of little shops and restaurants with lots of outdoor adventures to do! The natural rock bridge was awesome, there’s plenty of hikes near by as well. Lots of elk come and visit the cabin every day, the kids loved seeing them up close.
A few items that made the trip less than excellent but can definitely be changed to make it excellent!
We had some extra guests (our kids) after our sitter bailed last minute. We had just arrived and had trouble with the smart lock. Once we were finally able to get in, we were messaged by the host saying that the extra guest fee request was sent to us. This was after we were observed via ring cameras arriving. No problem paying for the extra people, the way it was handled set a somewhat awkward tone for the rest of the trip. Now that we realized we were being watched on camera, this made some of our party pretty uncomfortable. To reinforce our suspicions of being observed, the following morning we had some elk visitors. The host has a bucket of feed for the elk which ran out, without asking about more feed we received a message where to find more feed to refill the bucket. While we appreciated the information about the feed, the part that it was unsolicited bothered us. On to cleanliness, overall the home was mostly clean. When going to bed the first night we found one of the beds had not been washed. Finding sand, and what looked like dog or cat hair all over the sheets. We ended up needing to wash them ourselves.
Again over all the stay was okay and we enjoyed our time up in Pine.

We are glad that you enjoyed the surrounding areas and local attractions. Our apologies for the cleanliness of the one bed. This is something we do take very serious and thank you for bringing this to our attention and we will addressed this with our housekeeper. We also apologize for any uncomfortable feelings with our cameras. We do state that the home has them and they all point out to the yards and driveway in our listings as well as our digital guide book. The camera's are there for the small protection of the home it gives and to our guests that stay. They are motion activated with the lights turning on so it's no secret that there are cameras. I assure you we do not sit and watch the cameras. We do use it to verify the number of guest are accurate. Which is something we also state we strickly enforce as we have been taken avantage of in the past. It is an awkward situation we are put in and there is no good time to bring it up. If we didn't say anything you would not have either. If you would have explained the situation before you arrived we would have understood that three different families sitters all bailed on them at the very last minute. We understand that could happen. We did get an alert and we saw that there were quite a few elk out front and our intension was to pointout the feed for the children as we know that feeding the elk is such an experience that will last them a lifetime. As for the lock. I am not sure what the issue was as we were not there. Our housekeeper could not duplicate any issues and after you left I was able to remotely lock the door. There was several times in the lock history that it showed it jammed which we have found is only due to not waiting until the locking/unlocking process has completed before trying to open the door. The lock either works or it doesn't. There is no sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Pine, AZ is one of our favorite getaway towns. It is about a 2 hour drive away from Phoenix and has a great small town vibe. We have rented cabins in Pine many times and this cabin by far is our favorite. We can tell that the owner has done a lot of work on the cabin and we really enjoyed everything about it. It has all of the comforts of home and we think that it is a great value for the price. Communications with the owners was excellent. Our favorite thing to do was to hang out on the deck and see all of the Elk and Deer come by. The owners provide feed to put out and the animals came in droves every day! We also enjoyed the great kitchen and the comfortable bedding. The downstairs shower is also very nice. The internet was fast and easy to access. We will definitely rent this cabin again in the future!

You and your friends were pretty awesome guests. We are glad you enjoyed your time at our place.
We had a great stay at this cabin. It was beautifully renovated and well maintained. It had modern appliances and conveniences. It was a great location for being so close to the national forest and was a short drive away to deeper snow. We saw a herd of about 30 elk nearby.
