About this property

This wonderful home is very close to two beautiful beaches on the Nantucket Sound! It is situated on 2 acres of wooded grounds with peeks of Nantucket sound. The surrounding mature trees provide for considerable privacy. It is a short walk to Cockle Cove Beach, which is continuous with Ridgevale Beach and a wade in the water onto Hardings Beach, a little less than a mile of beach for sunbathing, swimming, beach sports. The water at Cockle Cove Beach is shallow, with no current or surf, making it a safe swimming beach for children of all ages! The house offers an uncomplicated vacation home with privacy, and was built up out of the ground to take advantage of the view and the feeling of being in the trees. Three levels of living space with a large deck overlooking the grounds. The lower level offers a sitting area along with a bunk bed ( plus the bottom futon sofa can be laid flat to make a double bed.) and a full bath. There are 2 bedrooms and full bath on the main floor and another bedroom and 1/2 bath on the upper level. This is the perfect spot for your family's beach vacation in Chatham!
