The apartment was very spacious and had lots of charm but everything was very old and dated. Couches were a bit dirty and not very comfortable. The beds were hard and there were only a few comfy pillows. I requested more but never rec’d a response. There was not enough toilet paper for our 2 night stay and there was not one bottle of water there, nor any coffee or paper towels, basically nothing.

Dear Catherine ,thank you for sharing your comments. The house is a gothic building and was build 400 years ago and we made sure to keep the spirit of the building . We wanted to mix some modern furniture with some antiques exactly to give the charm you saw. Beds in europe tend to be harder than in the US and pillows as well . Couches are from EDRA , a top italian manufacturer and their streamlined design dont make them the most confortable seating , sorry about that . We have a whole storage downstairs with soundries and supplies, sorry we were not clear at the check in

We loved staying here! Plenty of space for four adults and two kids. Easy check in, lots of great recommendations for food and aid in procuring water taxis. A truly beautiful property, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful 3 bedroom on the grand canal with a great view and perfect location in the city. There is a fun restaurant in the same courtyard as well for drinks. i would recommend this to anyone with the budget to afford.

It was a quick visit to Venice for us on our way to hiking the Dolomites. Another friend had recommended this specific property and it did not disappoint! Incredible apartment in an unbeatable location in Venice. The host was amazing and couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommend!

The apartment is amazing, there is an easy marker to find the exact street turn to get to it as well. The hosts were increbily helpful in booking a water taxis to on day of departure as we had older parents with us and walking with luggage would have been a little difficult for them. Overall a really pleasant stay.

Great Place To Stay!

If you love history and elegance this apartment is for you! The location is incredible. A short walk to everything you want to see and great places to eat. You can sit at the end of the dock and watch all the gondolas go by and an awesome view of the Rialto Bridge. The taverna next door is sooo good. We will stay here again.

Great location and apartment.

The apartment is right by the Rialto Bridge overlooking Remer courtyard with views of the Grand Canal. Large open living room for relaxing with wine and cheese at the end of the day.
