About this property

Gorgeous basement apt. in a great location!

PLEASE read the full listing description and details about this property before booking! You will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. 10 minutes away from SLC you can get around quick, but be in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood on the mountain! Our one bedroom walk out basement apartment has a private entrance with a view. It sleeps four guests with one king bed and two twin beds. A washer and dryer, kitchen and spacious living area. Our family of five lives upstairs and basements aren’t sound proof. We do our best to be respectful, but you will hear us from time to time. Basements naturally run colder and we control the air upstairs. We do however try to check in with each guest to ensure the temperature is just right for them, especially in winter months! We also have warm comforters, lap blankets and a space heater if needed! Free parking on the driveway for two small cars.

Guests will access the private one bedroom walk out basement apartment through our side gate into our backyard. Our backyard will be a shared space with our family. We do have seating in the backyard to enjoy the beautiful view. There is also play equipment in the backyard. Only children allowed on the equipment, parents must supervise at all times. Play at your own risk. We do have a sweet small hypoallergenic dog that shares our backyard from time to time. There are no steps, our home is on a hill so the sidewalk from the driveway to the backyard has a slope downward.

This space is ideal for small families or people needing a place to stay while they go explore Utah during the day!

A little something I like to do before booking my guests is getting to know a little about you. I want to make sure you have a filed out profile and profile picture. Along with what is bringing you to our lovely place and reasons for visiting! I look forward to meeting you and can’t wait for your stay!

Super Getaway

The accommodations were just as advertised. Check-in was very smooth and easy. It was a very clean, newer basement apartment with excellent attention to detail to our every need. What a beautiful stay!

There’s a wonderful family upstairs and you can hear them practicing piano and singing lol- they are quiet at night. The place was super clean and easy for us to access and be comfortable. There was much more than what we expected. The host was friendly and communicated well! Beautiful neighborhood and not far from the hospital.

The stay was fantastic- space was clean, comfortable & perfect for two of us. Would also be very comfortable with more people. Having a kitchen was a nice addition that you just don’t get with hotel stays. Would highly recommend.

Perfect home away from home

Collette was wonderful! My son and I were arriving late at night so Collette allowed my to have groceries delivered to the house so I wouldn't have to worry about breakfast. The house is easy to get to and has everything you need.

Super clean and modern in North Salt Lake!

Stayed in the basement/in-law unit of this beautiful home in an immaculate neighborhood in NSL. There’s a separate entrance in the back so it’s very private, even though the family lives upstairs. Can’t express how pleased we were with how comfortable and well-furnished the unit is. Cleanliness rules apply, which was perfect for our family, as we have these rules at home as well! Location is great too, and it was still an easy drive to Alta both days we were there. Thank you Collette for sharing your beautiful home with us! We’d love to come back!

Perfect for us!

My daughter and I spent several days in SLC skiing and exploring the area. This place was perfect for us. We wanted a clean, comfortable space; centrally located for our day trips; the ability to make breakfast, and a dinner or two; and get a good night sleep. This place delivered on all fronts! After each day of exploring and/or skiing it was nice to come “home”, get a hot shower, and get a good night sleep in the very comfortable beds. The added bonus was meeting Collette, her family, and lovable dog. Very kind and great kids. For us, we realize that we are staying in someone’s home, they have a family, and mutual respect and kindness go a long way in making for a wonderful stay. Thank you for your part in a great father-daughter trip filled with many fond memories!

It is close to downtown tucked away in a nice neighborhood with a pretty view to enjoy. If you still want to feel like you are at home while on vacation, this is the place. It is new, fresh and clean.
