About this property

Cape Coral, Fl Caloosahatchee riverfront, close to Ft. Myers

Boaters dream location with boat slip that can run you to the gulf. Located in Cape Coral on the Caloosahatchee with beautiful sunrise views and nightime views of Fort Myers. River front house with heated salt water pool and tiki hut, 3 bedrooms with king beds and 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds. Large open living room including a unique sunken conversation pit. The water views are SPECTACULAR from living room, dining, kitchen and master bedroom area. Hardly anywhere in the house you can not see the amazing views. And the sunrises are indescribable. You could have coffee on the dock and most likely see dolphin in the morning or evening around dusk. The night views are also incredible, especially when the moon is out. However, even without the moon, the Midpoint bridge lights up the background of the water, making it very pretty. Large pocket sliding patio doors in living room and master bedroom. Bedroom wing has separate ac cooling unit for separate sleeping comfort. Free wi-fi. Large cable tv in living room and master bedroom. Roku tv's on screened in porch, tiki hut and 1 guest room. We have a foldable crib in the master bedroom, along with crib sheets and crib pads, as well as a booster type high chair seat that can be strapped to a dining room chair, located in the pantry. There are 6+ lounge chairs and 6 polywood adirondack chairs around pool and 6 captain chairs and table under the tiki hut. There are pool floats, 6 bikes, a few fishing rods and some tackle, beach chairs and a coolers for your use. Some you will find in the shed on the side of the house or in the garage. There are also various games available in the pantry. All the towels and linens are provided for you along with many extra pillows. There is a washer and dryer and instead of an iron, there is a clothing steamer. 2 hairdryers are available for use. There is a small Keurig, as well as a 12 cup drip coffee maker. There is also a blender available for you. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with most everything you might need including salt and pepper and a few spices and oils. Allot of times there are condiments left which you are also welcome to use. Anything you find in the cabinets you are welcome to. Should you empty any kitchen items that were made available, if you could replace it for the next guests, that'd be great! but not expected.
The closest beaches currently are about a half an hour away depending on traffic. Ft. Myers beach and also Sanibel/Captiva island. Both about the same distance away. Ft. Myers beach, more restaurants and shops and activities. Sanibel/Captiva, more secluded but amazing for shell hunting.
We start you off with small supply of paper products (paper towels and toilet paper), however they are not refilled during your stay. You will need to maintain your own supply. Sometimes, guests will leave extra paper plates and solo cups or various items. You are welcome to use them. There is dish soap and hand soap provided. Shampoo, body wash and conditioner SHOULD be available however not guaranteed as we don't live close to the property to maintain that, and housekeeping doesn't replace these items. However, I do have extras stored under the bath cabinets. Don't be afraid to look around in cabinets, drawers and closets to find various things you might be looking for. We spent much time trying to supply items that we may want on hand ourselves.

Perfect New Years vacay
New years vacation dream home. The weather was cooler for Florida, we had a hiccup with the heated pool but hosts were quick to fix the issue. Gorgeous house with amazing views. Coffee and beautiful sunrise views welcomed us every morning. Beds were comfy, kitchen had everything we didn’t even know we needed. Bikes available if you want to explore, which we did. Margarita machine was a hit with our group. Pay it forward amenities from previous guest were useful. Comfortably suited two families of four (which included 4 teenagers). Watched football from tiki and sunroom. Short drive to Fort Myers beach, kayaking and shopping more. We hope to be back!

Amazing Family Spring Break!
Pictures really don’t do this home justice. From the moment we opened the front door, we were blown away by the breathtaking view. I’m missing it already and we just left a few hours ago! The outdoor area is phenomenal. The pool, tiki hut, dock, screened in porch, nice furniture to relax in and did I mention the view lol? My son was able to catch catfish and snapper right off the dock and we saw lots of little lizards and 2 iguanas. Inside, the home is tastefully decorated. All of the beds are extremely comfy! We also appreciated that the home was well stocked with just about everything you could need or want. There are even bikes, sand toys, coolers, beach chairs, fishing supplies, etc for guests’ use. The neighborhood is friendly and convenient. We enjoyed just relaxing at the house quite a bit, but when we did venture out our favorite spots were Fin’s, Jungle Bird, Rumrunners, Side Car Ice Cream (they even have adult milkshakes!) and the fishing charter we booked through Sea-N-Red Charters. We highly recommend Captain Erik if you’re looking for a charter. He got my son lots of catches and my daughter and I enjoyed shell hunting on Captiva. I could go on and on but don’t hesitate to book. The owners are the kindest and most responsive I’ve ever encountered and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is top notch! It is obvious from the moment you walk in that they care deeply about their home. Thank you, Missie & Jeff! ❤️

Holiday Vacation
My family of 7 had a great time staying at this property over the recent holiday season. We enjoyed swimming in the heated pool, sitting and fishing off the dock, enjoying warm evenings under the tiki hut watching the college bowl games, and singing karaoke on the bluetooth speaker :). The property had several bikes which we used to ride around the neighborhood and even rode to downtown Cape Coral. The house had everything one would need: comfy beds, great bathrooms, the sunken family room, double oven, two fridges, icemaker and other amenities. Everything was well maintained and clean. Even despite the recent hurricane, the area was vibrant with many restaurants. The beaches were closed so we drove an hour to Naples to go to the beach which was a fun trip. If you're looking for a great place to unwind, you cannot go wrong with this property. Jeff and Missie were outstanding hosts and we communicated frequently before and during the stay. Can't wait to come back again!!

We are the new owners of this home away from home. We have had residential rentals most of our married lives, however, we are new to VRBO renting. We will do everything possible to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. We will make this home as nice as we would want it to be when we are enjoying it ourselves. We are married 36 years, with 2 sons (33 and 23). We are fair, fun loving people who enjoy life. We love the water and boating and spending time with friends and family. We would love to share our home with you and hope you find it as peaceful and beautiful as we do.

Why they chose this property

It's a beautiful, peaceful location in the very desirable Cornwallis neighborhood beside the Caloosahatchee River. It has spectacular water views from the family room, kitchen, dining room, master bedroom, screened in porch and pool area. Bonus night time views of the mid point bridge lights and the Fort Myers lights across the river. Sit under the tiki hut and watch the 6 mph boat traffic travel right behind the dock because the main channel is within 100 feet of the houses.

What makes this property unique

River front home with water view from just about every location of the house. Large windows allowing tons of natural light. Quiet, peaceful location. Almost all guests love the boat traffic that travels very close to the houses. 2,000 SF of paver patio around the pool plus 10 x 80 feet of concrete patio bulkhead next to the river. Ice maker to fill your beach cooler.
