Little Palm Vista Guest Suite, located in the garden level of a quaint island stone cottage, is the perfect romantic getaway. Most of our guests are honeymooners or couples celebrating their anniversary. Situated high a top a hill that borders the National Park, it has spectacular panoramic views of the Caribbean. For those who desire a more secluded location with luxurious furnishings, yet more economical than an island resort hotel room.

Cooking is a breeze with everything you need to cook a full meal. The interior kitchenette includes a large fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and blender. While the outside grill also has a side burner, so its just like cooking on a stovetop, perfect for preparing breakfast, or sautéing your favorite dish. Plus, all the cooking & eating utensils, dishware & pots/pans are provided.

The villa is equipped with Solar panels & Tesla power walls to provide electricity during power outages.

The impeccably furnished interior boasts a King Size poster bed with a comfortable pillow top mattress. The room has a sitting area with snakeskin mosaic tile table and 2 chairs. The over-sized sliding glass doors open to the ocean view and a private coral tiled deck with a sun awning to keep you comfortable. 2 additional French doors open to a private covered porch and patio.

The luxury bath with custom cabinetry contains glistening white Carrera marble. The large shower with glass tile accents features an ocean view window and is big enough for two.

The Guest Suite has its own separate staircase and entry, with its own private covered porch, balcony and patio. Little Palm is situated in a quiet neighborhood.

A beautiful iridescent glass tiled pool with a bench allows you to relax while enjoying the panoramic ocean view...a wonderful spot to enjoy the sunset and cocktail after the beach. (See pool details under amenities.) Little Palm's guest suite is the perfect place to pamper yourself and your mate for a wonderful Caribbean vacation you will never forget!

The suite is cleaned prior to your arrival. Guests staying longer than a 7 night stay can pay for an additional mid-stay cleaning is they so desire. This should be arranged in advance.

No smoking is permitted on the premises. A rental car will be required for your stay; 2 door jeep is recommended. (You will probably not use the 4WD, but Jeep type vehicles sit higher off the ground, making them better for St John roads.) The roads are all paved from the ferry to your flat parking space.
The owner is not responsible for any booking and or computer errors made by VRBO.

This is a beautiful place! The views and landscaping are gorgeous. It's quiet and feels away from it all. It was nice returning here after being out and about during the day, then waking up and enjoying the beauty each morning. I miss it already. The host is welcoming, friendly, personable, and helpful. I highly recommend staying here. It's exactly as pictured but the view/vibe is even better in person .

Our stay at Little Palm Vista was a wonderful experience. The owner has created a beautifulescape to paradise and has thought of everything to make your vacation memorable. The view was mesmerizing…panorama view of Fish Bay from the veranda. The perfect spot for morning coffee and evening sunsets. Lounging in the pool after a day at the beach was such an extra bonus. We adjusted quickly to the windy roads but that is just part of this very special place. Our Palm vista binder was invaluable for restaurant and beach information. Be sure to use it. We’ll be toasting to you Michael every time we drink from our Palm Vista tumblers.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Little Palm Vista. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this property is something special. The views are hands down some of the best on the island with stunning sunrises to start the day and unforgettable sunsets every evening. Sitting on the pool bench watching the sun go down was easily one of the highlights of our entire trip.The amenities were excellent, especially the pool area, which we found ourselves enjoying daily. The villa was comfortable, well-appointed, and truly felt like a peaceful retreat.Mike was an outstanding host — friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. Little Palm Vista - Fish Bay

My wife and I came to St. John for our honeymoon and the stay was way better than expected! The communication and check in was a breeze and once we got there, the views were breathtaking! We felt the location was perfect as we were a short drive to everything but also felt like we were out of the hustle and bustle of town. The amenities and villa was better than advetised and it was truly the best trip and stay we could have asked for! We will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful villa with a view

We loved the balcolny the most! Coffee in the morning and a drink at night. So fun to watch the boats and the water. The room was perfect for us. We appriciated the use of beach chairs and pool noodles. Michael was super kind and helpful. We would definately come back!

Spectacular Views

We booked the suite based on the depicted views and we weren’t disappointed! Loved watching the sunrise from the bougainvillea draped deck and hearing the surf at night. In fact, the accommodation became one of the highlights of the trip. While driving in St John is not for the faint of heart, we found the trek up to Skytop road to be less stressful than feared. There’s very little traffic on the road Just do it.

Wished we could have stayed longer!

My husband and I were fortunate enough to get away to Little Palm Vista and my only regret is not being able to stay longer! The suite is perfectly appointed and looks exactly like the pictures. The views are BREATHTAKING and we saw incredible rainbows from our balconies on more than one day. We visited a different gorgeous beach every day (our goal) but also loved coming back for a dip in our private pool and having wine and coffee on our balcony. While this is a mountaintop home, we truly had no issue navigating the road in our Jeep and Michael the owner even came to meet us on our first day to escort us up to the house. Michael made wonderful recommendations for restaurants and bars, was very responsive to questions and could not have been kinder to us. This was one of my favorite getaways ever and made us love St. John even more. We can’t wait to come back to Little Palm Vista!

A beautiful place to stay

Little Palm was outstanding in so many ways. The view the ambiance, the private pool, the spacious bathroom. Mike, the owner, was a wealth of information- where to eat, hiking trails, beaches, etc. He was readily available and also kind, we will miss him! He made our trip.I have read other reviews about the “horror” of the drive, but once we did it a couple of times, it was just fine. We drove it at night after dinner many times. It was so worth it for the peace and quiet. We are in our 60s and didn’t find the drive a reason not to be at this location which felt like paradise. Beautiful view

The view here was beautiful. The owner was very nice. We have never been to St John and didn’t know what to expect. We are in our 70s. The drive up to this area was extremely stressful for us as we had never driven on the left side of the road and the turns were very sharp and the roads were filled with dips, holes, and speed humps .It took 15 minutes each way to get to Cruz Bay. Next time we will definitely stay in town .

We had an amazing stay at Little Palm Vista—everything was absolutely perfect!Michael went above and beyond, offering fantastic recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and activities. His warm hospitality made us feel right at home.The drive was simple thanks to Michael’s guidance and map. The place was spotless, and Michael provided snorkel gear, beach chairs, a cooler, and noodles, making beach days effortless. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the grill, toaster oven, and fridge made it easy to prepare meals at home. A nice break from eating out on vacation. The balcony views were simply breathtaking!We loved playing bocce ball while taking in the stunning ocean views, reading by the pool, and stargazing at night. Waking up to this view could never get old. Very quiet and private, which is exactly what we were looking for. We did not cook at all except for the toaster, because we love to try local cuisine, but had everything that we needed. The information that Michael provided was excellent and helpful in planning.

10th Anniversary Trip to St. John

We had a great time staying at the Little Palm Vista for our 10th anniversary trip. The view was phenomenal from the balcony and we enjoyed use of the pool and grill. The guest suite was more than enough space for the two of us, and the bed was very comfortable. Michael provided all the details we needed well ahead of the trip to make sure our travel went as smoothly as possible. Looking forward to a trip back in the future!

Almost perfect

We had a wonderful time at this property. The location is mid-island which makes getting around the island pretty easy, all communication beforehand was excellent and set us up for success, and the pool is an amazing place to wind away the ends of days. We did have a few issues, all of which Michael addressed, but which led to lower ratings on our part. 1) When we arrived, the property had not been properly cleaned (dirt in entryway, still used soap in shower, dirty vase on calendar). A second cleaning crew came by the next day and fixed this. 2) Not sure if time of year or not, but we were not able to see the sunrise or the sunset from the property, which was disappointing given the views in the property listing. 3) Some emergency repairs needed to be made to Michaels' main house, which meant workers were there (quite noisily) for several hours one day, preventing us from using the pool. A heads up would have been nice. I think much of this was in part due to Michael not being able to be present during our visit, as the communication we did have with him was excellent. It's a great place otherwise, and it's truly fantastic for a couple visiting St John for the first time.

Thought of everything

This was our first trip to St. John so we had no idea what to expect. Michael’s meticulous notes helped us immensely. We felt incredibly prepared throughout our week in paradise. From navigating the arrival process to making dinner reservations, Michael had it covered! Michael was incredibly prompt in addressing an AC issue and kept us notified of the inevitable power outages. We would highly recommend staying at one of his properties. You’ll feel like you got a private travel agent as part of the deal😉

I first discovered St John 40 years ago via a cruise to St Thomas with a short snorkel junket to Trunk Bay Beach in St John. I was hooked. In March of 2003 I purchased land, some say its the best lot on the whole south side of the island, with its 230 degree breathtaking ocean views. I completed Little Palm Guest Suite in August of 2009 as a place where guests can truly enjoy the best St John has to offer. I spent an entire week, 8 hours a day, on the island looking at every parcel of land available. In the end, the panoramic views, the cooling trade winds, the privacy, the gentle sounds of the surf, the views of three different bays, the sunrise and sunset...I was not able to find anything that compares.
