Built in 2018, this home was recently purchased by a Designer and Contractor who have taken it to the next level! The open concept floor plan has 20' ceilings in the living/dining/ kitchen area with additional bar seating. There are Designer touches in every room with an extensive collection of art from the owners' private collection. Master bedroom was dusty. I wish it had a King bed. I ended up sleeping on the couch, which was fairly comfortable. The garage was nice but if you have more than 2 cars you may have parking issues. We left one in the garage and one in the driveway. I don’t think houses across the street had driveways so they were in the street and made backing out a challenge. Overall we enjoyed the house and the backyard area. Would stay again

Hi Pam, My husband and I clean the property ourselves. It takes us anout 5 hours depending on how the property is left. I asked my husband about the MB and and he said he dusted it. I checked after my next rental and it looks like the paint may be oxidizing slightly on the painted furniture. Thank you for letting me know. I would suggest that you check the bed situation before renting and if a king is necessary, you should rent an accommmodatio with a king. My beds are spelled out in my listing. It looks like it may have been tight with 3 children, your husband and youself, and a visiting son. The parking will fit two cars - a truck and an SUV, possibly no. That is why we have 4 parling spaces - two in the garage and two in the driveway. Our neighbors across the street have always parked across from us, but they do have a garage behind their home. We drove to the back of their house - the garage must be full and their was a third car in that driveway. Sorry! I have a SUV and my husband has a truck and we have no trouble backing out? I hope this explains a few things. I am glad you liked our house and enjoyed your trip to Santa Fe. Thanks, Crista Dixon

The house was pretty, comfortable, well-stocked with necessities, and 15 minutes from Santa Fe. We loved having a garage for our car and a backyard for sitting outdoors. In addition, hot water was instant and the house cooled comfortably. Lovely place for exploration of Santa Fe and Los Alamos.

I am a former hi-tech corporate CEO who has been flipping homes for the last 8 years in California. My contractor husband and I moved to Santa Fe in 2020. We found that In Santa Fe's tight housing market there are few flipping opportunities, so we decided to do a luxury short-term rental property instead. We purchased an adorable home built in 2018 and have added the design and luxury touches that make our property fun and inviting.

The home was nearly new and there were very few issues that needed work other than a cosmetic facelift.

What makes this property unique

The home is in a quiet residential neighborhood, yet is close to shopping and dining. The property is near Highway 599, close to the Santa Fe airport and is easily accessible if traveling from the Albuquerque airport. It is a short drive from the Plaza and has easy accessibility if heading north or south in New Mexico.
