The cabin was incredibly nice and relaxing. The hot tub was wonderful and the beds were very comfortable. We also enjoyed the DVD library in the evening. The walk to the river was peaceful and beautiful. I definitely recommend Bear Timbers for your stay.
The cabin very cozy, and the owners spent a great deal of time and effort to not only provide all the information we needed about how to operate the various appliances and entertainment, but they also made the cabin comfortable and welcoming. Also, the hot tub was well-maintained and was a very nice addition to our experience. The cabin and the nice walk to the river made our time there very enjoyable.
Excellent, neat, clean, calm, and cozy place! Full of all amenities, just bring your food and drinks, and you’re all set. My whole family had fun (even the pickier members!). We will for sure revisit it someday!
This cabin is absolutely beautiful, cozy, and rustic, but with ALL the modern conveniences and additions you could ever want! It is sparkling clean, beautifully appointed, and has a full kitchen, warm electric fireplace, big jacuzzi tub in the Master, a screen porch AND open deck, a great hot tub, and gorgeous river front property just a lovely 3 minute walk away. We wanted a quiet, pet-friendly escape for our holiday, and this was the perfect place. I highly recommend Bear Timbers and would love to return!
Host communication was top-notch! The cabin was very comfy and cozy. The hot tub was in excellent working order and we took time to enjoy that each day of our stay. The kitchen was well-appointed and the gas fireplace provided warmth and charm. We enjoyed a roaring fire in the large, open fire pit each night of our stay, too. There was an ample firewood supply, and the wagon made it easy to haul to the fire pit. We were lucky to have two beautiful clear nights to look at the sky while the fire kept us warm. The gas grill on the deck was also in great working order and we used that to prepare our steaks one night. The king bed was very comfortable and the pillows worked just right. All in all, this was a really wonderful weekend get-away destination and we hope to return again.
We really enjoyed our stay! The house were amazing. Communicated right up front and stayed in contact. Checking in was simple and uncomplicated, everything we needed was there. Met all of our expectations and then some! Beautiful place and would absolutely stay there again.
Amazing time at the river. Also, it was NFL Sunday and we were able to use various streaming services to watch our games. Wonderful hosts, great location. We will be back!!
A very nice, clean and well equipped cabin. The owner was very responsive to all our questions. Close to the National Park, a state park and quaint small towns with nice restaurants and shops.
This was a great cabin home in a great area of VA. The home was the perfect size for a small family with all of the amenities you would want. The host was very responsive and accommodating during our stay. Luray is a short 15-20 minutes away with lots of great activites and things to see. Couldnt ask for more.
Great location for accessing the Park. Lovely walk down to the river. Cabin is well equipped with kitchen supplies for cooking and eating in. The bed in the primary is comfortable. Didn’t use the hot tub or the jacuzzi bath. Appreciated the bidet attachment in the primary bath.
Great stay, cabin was as advertised, clean, well equipped. Good location for taking advantage of the national park and local attractions such as Luray caverns.
