Casa Chillotta is located in the heart of Port Aransas! Relax and enjoy the ocean breeze in this stunning beach house on one of three balconies. Two balconies overlook the private cul-de-sac and are located off one of the two master suites and living room. The third balcony overlooks the fenced in backyard and private pool. Casa Chillotta is fabulously decorated in bright Island Style décor.

The spacious downstairs master offers a king bed and private bath. The guest room also has a king bed. There is a full bath, washer and dryer located downstairs for your convenience. The upstairs master suite offers a king bed, en suite bathroom with his and hers sinks plus outdoor seating on a private balcony. The bunk room is ready to set sail on a pirate adventure! There is a set of twin over full bunk beds with a twin trundle underneath. There is a reading area to relax in after a day at the beach. A private bath complete this pirate's place.

There are flat screen TV's located in every room! The open floor plan provides ample room for all your guests. Cook your catch of the day in the fully stocked kitchen, complete with new stainless steel appliances. Dining seating is provided both at the table and the bar. The back yard is fully fenced in and features a private beach entry pool surrounded by beautiful mature palm trees. Port A elegance shows in the beautiful patio and decking with several outdoor seating arrangements. Casa Chillotta also provides an outdoor shower.

*The pool can be heated for an additional $100 per day. There is parking in the driveway for up to 4 vehicles or a boat. Driveway camera.

Great place to stay!!

Everything was clean! The pool was a little dirty at arrival but pool got cleaned next day! The property had a lot of room to park especially with our boat no issues at all! I wish they would have had the gas grille as mentioned in the listing! Had a small pit we made it work! Overall great place will stay again in the future!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Casa Chillotta. This is a fabulous property! There is not a direct beach access walk over; however, this property is right off 11th street, which is on the beach side. Less then a mile from the beach. Please come back and stay with us again!

Hose was great- property mgr not so much

We loved the house but couldn’t get property mgr to call back. Main TV in living room never would work, but we just did other activities instead. Plenty of hot water in bathrooms, but only intermittent hot water in the kitchen. What’s up with that? Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Cute house

The house was cute and had a small pool. The location was close to the beach and easy to find food places. The only draw back was that one of the hand railing was loose and I was afraid the children or my handicap sister-in-law would fall down. The pool was not very clean. I called the rental office about the pool. They said they would sent someone out but the pool cleaners never came.

Terrible Experience

When we arrived, we found dirty socks and the temperature in the house was 80 degrees. I immediately started communicating with the host. The host said they would send someone out to look at the AC. We thought we would make the best of it and swim in the heated pool, but the pool was not heated! I again got with the host who told me that the pool was so big (which it was not) that it would take awhile to heat up and asked if I still wanted it. I told her yes because my grandchildren were looking forward to it. She said she would send maintenance out. The AC repairman showed up and attempted to fix the AC and left without saying anything. I contacted the host to inquire about the Ac and pool. She said they could not fix the air so someone would be bringing window units and that the Maintenance person for the pool would either be by that night or early morning to start the pool. The Maintenance person arrived with only 2 window units and I asked him to at least put them in the bedrooms upstairs. He did, and when he left, my grandson turned on the light in the bedroom and the power went out. I again contacted the host to inquire about the air, power being out, and the pool. She answered me back by saying the power may be a GFI from the bathroom. I told her that did not work, so they sent someone out. My kids and grandkids were miserable sleeping in the house because it was hot. I am trying to finish typing my review but spacing in the box does not allow. Terrible Experience,

Good, but not great.

The good... The size and layout of the house was great for our group. Three sets of adults, plus all five kids in the bunk room, with each room having their own bathroom was great. Interior was clean with a "beachy" theme. Per previous reviews, we brought our own extra bowls, kitchen utensils, etc, which was definitely needed. Otherwise, house was stocked as described. Ample parking and great location. The bad... The pool is much smaller than it appears in the photos. As one review mentioned, there is no shade anywhere, except under the small porch. There is a house being built directly behind this home, so while we were there, it was loud and uncomfortable with construction workers looking down on our teenage daughter while at the pool. The pool was extremely dirty. Sand and cardboard all over the bottom and our children found the skimmer full of beer cans. The entire outdoor area seems to be an afterthought. The yard (both front and back) was full of fire ant mounds, which two of our children stepped in and received several ant bites. The door handle to the upstairs front porch was very difficult to open and close, leaving people outside stuck, until someone inside could open it. And lastly, the downstairs king bed was extremely uncomfortable and very creaky with every move. We visit Port A several times each summer and have so for many years. Our group consensus was we probably would not stay here again, unless some updates were made to the outdoor space. For the price, I would expect a bit more attention to detail.

Birthday fun

The inside of the property is cute and clean. It would be nice to have a reasonably sized set of pots and pans and some better organization to the kitchen. Dish washer needs to be de-scaled. Perfect size for our group(9 people) you could comfortably fit a free more. Outside did not have as much seating or shade as shown in pictures. Only share was from narrow back porch and a small cover over the pool, BBQ is rusted out, but did have new grated on it. Having a light over the grill area would be helpful for night grilling. Pool was clean and cold. Back yard could use some work. There were A LOT of mosquitoes(inside also), ants, and stickers. There’s no sir t access to the beach. You have to drive to an access road. Overall, not a bad place, just a few small upgrades would be nice.

Overall great experience

My only criticism of this property was that they listed the wrong password for the Wi-Fi so we spent our first day there without internet, we found out on the last day as we were leaving that the pool is heated but there was no instructions on how to actually heat the pool, and there's a pretty decent lack of kitchen equipment. was going to make a pot of mac and cheese for the kids but there was not a regular sock pot, so we had to use this giant monster pot that was made for like boiling lobsters. Don't get me wrong, we love this house and there's a good chance we will probably use it next year. But we will definitely confirm the Wi-Fi information beforehand, and make sure we know how to heat the pool, and bring a few of our own pots and pans.

Maybe needs some updates outside. The inside was super nice and comfortable! We had trouble with the AC the first night, but the staff was great and did what they could to make it comfortable for us! The house stated it had a heated pool and we didn’t know that we had to call for someone to come set it up. The rest of the stay was great and will definitely come back to Silver Sands!

The pool pump was not on for very long during the day, making the water stagnant and even hotter than is expected during the summer months. The coffee pot broke on us, and there were very few kitchen supplies. The grill was dirty when we arrived and there were no grill tools to clean the grill.
