WELCOME TO YOUR VACATION CONDO IN THE MOUNTAINS!
My two bedroom condo was completely renovated for everyone to enjoy. We've been told it is one of the nicest places at the Iron Horse Resort and received a 5 star rating out of 5 from my guests. For years I have managed my own condo and strive to insure that you have a great time.
Relax and feel like you're on vacation' with all the amenities and comforts of home.

Spring Break at the Iron Horse

We've been staying at the Iron Horse for over 25 years (early on as owners and then as guests of friends with units there or other VRBO owners), and we've stayed at most of the other condo properties at the base (Zephyr, Founder's/Fraser Crossing/the lofts in the Village), and we typically stay at the Vintage Hotel at least four weekends a ski season. The IH is arguably the best overall ski-in/ski out property at WP: (1) There are now lots of other properties at the base (the IH was the first), but the IH is the only one with a heated outdoor pool (not a giant tub, but a pool kids can play in), (2) its two hot tubs probably serve fewer guests than the other properties at the base with common tubs, and the pool/tub/deck area is just larger and nicer than other properties (this really sets the IH apart for summer stays), (3) its brand new gym is very nice, and (4) it has a large game room and lobby area (nice for kids/teens). This 2 bed/2 bath unit was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Our host Jen was very responsive and accommodating. We'll book with her again.

Perfect location and a great host

The condo is a true ski-in-ski out gem. My daughter and nephew and I also found the two large hot tubs and heated pool to be very restorative. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked breakfast each morning and dinner on most nights. Jenn the host was very responsive and supportive. We had a slow drain in one of the showers and let her know, the next day it was fixed while we were skiing. I definitely love this place and location and highly recommend it for ski vacations.

Cozy 2bdrm short walk to a ski run

Enjoyed true ski in/ski out access from the building, a great location. Hot tub and heated pool great additions. The place was compact, clean, warm and well appointed. Owner Jen was very communicative and helpful in providing map and area info.

Originally from Michigan I moved to Colorado 35 years ago to enjoy the mountains/skiing and the beauty of Colorado. I consider Iron Horse Resort my great escape to relax, recharge and have a lot of fun with my friends and family. It truly is a beautiful area- one that I always enjoy going back to. It is not built up like the other resorts and the people are friendly. I enjoy skiing/snowmobiling in the winter and mountain biking, fishing and ATVing in the summer. I currently reside in Denver, Colorado.

Why they chose this property

I chose Winter Park because it is the 'last frontier' in Colorado and about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Denver (airport)- making this the most convenient location to enjoy the mountains. It is not built up like most ski towns and it has all the amenities in a resort setting. With the base of Winter Park being tastefully built this provides entertainment/dining within walking distance. There is skiing for every level. If you are a intermediate to expert skier Mary Jane is great!

What makes this property unique

SKi Equiment can be rented at the Ski Broker located right at the Iron Horse Condominiums. You can store your ski equipment in the indoor ski lockers locatedon the right as you go outside to ski down the corridor to the Winter Park Ski Resort. Iron Horse Condominiums has a shuttle that comes by the property to take you to the base of Winter Part or to the town of Winter Park which is about a 10 minute ride. I've been told we have the nicest amenities- heated pool, steam, 2 large hot-tubs and a newly renovated work out room.
