Nestled on over 5 acres, this charming 2-bedroom, 2½-bath farmhouse was once a barn—now thoughtfully transformed into a beautiful, spacious, nearly 2,000-square-foot home with an open floor plan. Enjoy modern conveniences while feeling a world away from the city.

Both bedrooms feature private en-suite bathrooms. The full kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and an island with a second sink. Smart TVs and WiFi are provided, and the living room sofa converts into a queen bed for extra sleeping space.

Watch stunning mountain sunsets from the west side of the house and soak in the peace of true country living—complete with the occasional sounds of neighboring horses and goats. Sit on the porch and enjoy a break from city life, while being close to amenities.

This house was PERFECT for our vacation. Great mountain view. Easy driving access to major highways/roads/restaurants. Extremely clean; pretty, open concept layout & great amenities. Large garage. Quiet and relaxing. 10/10 would recommend and would stay here again if we end up back in the state again!

Our stay was fantastic. The home is comfy, cozy, clean and well equipped. We had a such a peaceful, relaxing time at the farmhouse when we weren't out exploring the area. Shannon is a wonderful host who communicated well and was able to accommodate us with a special request during our stay. I'm looking forward to a return trip in the future and would definitely stay here again.

All was FABULOUS,,,SERENE in the morning with coffee on the porch, lovely view and quiet area, very convenient to all things in Denver and south to Colorado Springs. We would definitely stay again.Cons - beds very high, yet there were 2-stepper available to get into the bed, yah!- & not enough chairs on the porchIt would have been lovely to have a hot tub to relax in after a long day of excursions, yet we enjoyed our stay very much!

This was one of the best VRBO experiences we have had, and we have rented many. The property is in a wonderfully quiet area, in the morning the meadowlark’s are singing away and the view is fantastic. The house and furnishings are beautiful, and everything is very clean. Beds are comfortable and nothing was overly scented like some rentals are. Good communication from host. We hope we can stay again on our next trip

The home was easy to find with the directions we were given. Upon entering the home everything was very clean and all the furnishings in the home are very nice. It has beautiful views out the back to set in the evening and in the morning to have your coffee in which I enjoyed every morning. It is very peaceful to look at the mountains and see the horses and listen to the chickens. If we are able to go back to Colorado I definitely would like to stay here again. It is in a great location!

Shannon's home was fantastic, a great home away from home. This is actually my hometown so I know the area well, and it's in a perfect location! The home was clean and a really great layout for our family. It's super close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. but is in a very quiet, peaceful location. Shannon was very responsive via text and the home instructions were clear. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I finally settled back in Colorado after being gone for almost 22 years. Our love of the outdoors and being closer to family have made this transition very easy. We've raised five amazing children and are now enjoying the next phase of our life here!

Why they chose this property

We live on the property and have had so much fun getting our "guest house" ready to share with those traveling to the area. You will find a tropical theme in the larger bedroom as we spent many years living in Hawaii. We couldn't resist sharing a little bit of that Aloha with our guests. There is a corral right next to the home that once housed horses and llamas. Beautiful blue skies most days of the year, clean crisp air and a quiet neighborhood - this is truly a special place!
