This house provides all the modern comforts of home with rustic touches and exposed wooden beams. You'll be wowed by the wall of floor-to-ceiling windows and its forest views. The open layout is perfect for a family bonding trip, with the main living area featuring a wood stove for cozying up at the end of a long day. The well-equipped kitchen has all the necessities and then some. Make use of the bonus kitchen gadgets like a waffle iron, electric kettle, and French press to do breakfast up right! Climb the floating staircase to a loft space that will make the perfect kids' clubhouse. This upstairs bonus room has an additional sleep space, half bath, flat-screen TV, and even a computer desk for your remote school or work needs. The nearest slopes are less than ten miles away, and you can soak in the luxurious hot tub after a fun day on the slopes. And, when the weather warms up, you're even closer to the lake and all of its water sports opportunities. Spring and summer are also the ideal time to take advantage of this home's private furnished deck and gas grill, just waiting to host your next family barbecue.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is a queen air mattress in the loft.
Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may experience these animals in or near your home.
The hot tub is serviced between each guest reservation. (The filter is removed, treated and cleaned, vacuum any debris, use net to clear larger debris, chemicals balanced, etc.)
Free high-speed WiFi (Due to Lake Tahoe being a mountain town, internet speed can ebb and flow with the local population.)

*Guests must provide their own wood for the wood stove
*Streaming services are available with guests' own accounts
The entrance to this home is located below street level. Guests must be comfortable traveling 15 steps to access the home.
Coin laundry is available within a 4.5 mile drive.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
