Cascina Borchina offers four romantic and elegant accommodations, for only a few guests: an entire house (finca) on two floors, an apartment with one bedroom (sole), two one-room apartments (Violetta and Falco).

The one-room apartment "VIOLETTA" is located in the Cascina Borchina, on the upper floor. The studio is the ideal living solution for couples, friends or single travelers who want to have a wonderful view over the Lago and the mountains and who are looking for a warm, sunny and elegant atmosphere. It is an intimate nest, furnished with stylish comfort and natural materials.
The natural materials have been carefully selected with great attention to detail. Among other things you will find marble, travertine, granite, slate, natural stone, recycled wood, old bricks. The result is a mixture of contemporary glamor, anchored in elements of fascinating tradition. The large windows give you the opportunity to have a wonderful view over the lake and to be embraced by the sun's rays. You have sun from early to late.
The room is equipped with a wardrobe, a kitchen, a bathroom with a stone shower, a living and dining area with a double bed and a wooden table with chairs that invites you to read or enjoy the view. They have a roof terrace with a marble table and chairs with cushions. Cascina Borchina has a lawned garden and a park. For this you have two deckchairs with cushions. Although we are in the middle of a forest, Cascina Borchina is surrounded by ancient rocks and stone walls, which has been used in history to grow fruit plants and wine. Today we have lemon trees, rosemary, sage, lavender, thyme, mint, cactus, wild cherry, chestnut, oak and hazelnut.

Even better than expected!

Our stay was even better than expected! The great rating is absolutely fair. Bettina was very welcoming and helped us with reservations and other things. The view was gorgeous and it was over all very quite. The flat was beautiful and kitchen and bathroom were nice and high quality. Everything was perfect! Thank you for the nice stay and we will be back! The way to the property is a little bit off-road, so make sure not to arrive in a lowered sportscar :D

Traumwohnung mit Traumaussicht

Die wunderbare Wohnung bietet all das, was man für eine erholsamen Urlaub benötigt. Modern und gemütlich eingerichtet, wobei besonders auf gesunde Baustoffe geachtet wurde, fühlt man sich von Beginn an richtig wohl. Die Vermieter stehen jederzeit hilfsbereit zur Seite und geben gern Tipps zu den verschiedenen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Region. Die Krönung bildet aber natürlich die sensationelle Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore von Balkon und Bett aus. 100%ige Empfehlung!

Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal in der Ferienwohnung. Wir lieben die Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore, das schöne Grundstück, die geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung die nichts zu wünschen übrig lässt. Sehr schöne Zeit mit fantastischer Aussicht

Wir hatten eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung verbracht und haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Jeden Morgen und Abend genossen wir die Aussicht auf den Lago. Wir unternahmen Ausflüge mit unseren E-Bikes. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet es fehlte an nichts. Unsere Gastgeber gaben uns wertvolle Tips und waren wie die netten Nachbarn von nebenan.

Als wir ankamen waren wir sprachlos.Wunderschönes Anwesen,traumhafter Blick auf den See.Da das Haus weiter oben liegt war auch eine angenehme Ruhe ,ohne von Verkehrslärm etc. gestört zu werden.Unsere Gastgeberin war immer da ,wenn man Hilfe gebraucht oder Fragen hatte. Wundervolle Aussicht über den Lago

Wir haben die Tage bei Bettina und Andrea sehr genossen. Ein Ort der Ruhe - perfekt zum entspannen. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und sehr liebevoll ausgestattet. Uns hat die sonnige Lage sehr gefallen, so konnten wir bereits beim Frühstück die Morgensonne auf unserem Balkon genießen und am Abend mit einem Gläschen Wein im Garten noch in der Abendsonne sitzen. Einfach Traumhaft.

Schönes Anwesen, viel Ruhe

Wir haben spontan bei Bettina gebucht. Das Anwesen ist groß und schön (ich glaube 5-6 Apartments mit gemeinsamer großer Wiese). Liegestühle usw. Ist alles vorhanden. Dazu ein kleiner Bücherschrank. Der Ausblick auf den Lago bezaubernd und man hat bis spät abends Sonne bei sehr viel Ruhe. Bettina war immer zur Stelle bei Fragen. Außerdem hat sie viele Tips und auch Vergünstigungen zu Restaurants, Outdoor Aktivitäten gegeben. Was man als AirBnB'ler womöglich nicht mehr gewohnt ist: Handtücher und Internet waren gegen Aufpreis. Wir hatten aber selbst welche dabei und nutzten unsere mobilen Hotspots, wenn benötigt. Noch zur Anreise: Das Anwesen liegt zwischen Maccagno und Campagnano. Es geht einen steilen geschotterten Weg nach unten. Die zwei Dörfer sind fußläufig in 20-40 Minuten zu erreichen. Besser vorher schon einen Grundstock an Verpflegung einkaufen und das Auto möglichst stehen lassen. Das Anwesen lädt eh zum Relaxen und Entspannen ein und nicht zum Autofahren ;). Wir können einen Aufenthalt auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Tolles Appartement mit viel Charme und einem sensationellen Blick auf den See

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Bettina und Andrea sind sehr symphatische Gastgeber, die uns Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben haben und mit denen wir Esskastanien geröstet haben. Traumhafte Flitterwochen am Lago Maggiore

Um es in einem Wort auszudrücken, muss ich nicht lange überlegen: Einfach PERFEKT! Angefangen von der sehr genauen Beschreibung des Anwesens und der Anfahrt, Sauberkeit, Ruhe, traumhafter Ausblick, Kräutergarten bis zur liebevollen Gestaltung und der Gastfreundlichkeit. Für uns war dies ein absoluter Glücksgriff und genau das, was wir uns vorgestellt haben. Wir denken heute noch oft an den Blick aus dem Bett in der Nacht über den See. Die Ruhe da oben, der Ausblick, einfach perfekt. Und auch die Details: gute Matratze, große Dusche, gut ausgestattete Küche, Polsterliegen, Einrichtung, Hilfe bei Fragen. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen und wir kommen ganz sicher wieder zurück. Chris & Sibylle

Die Beschreibung der Finca passte zu 100 %. Die Berg-/Hanglage mit gigantischem Seeblick ist in jeder Ferienwohnung zu genießen. (Wir durften bei Mieterwechsel jede Wohnung auf dem Landgut anschauen, eine schöner als die andere!). Die Ausstattung ist sehr hochwertig, neu, ich würde sie als luxuriös bezeichnen. Vergleichbare Lodges fand ich bislang nur in Südafrika! Die Böden sind ausschließlich mit Natursteinen verbaut, das Badzimmer ist perfekt. Es wurde an alles gedacht. Die Außenanlage ist sehr großzügig gehalten. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Ein kleiner Kräutergarten lädt zum Pflücken der Kräuter ein. Das Besitzerehepaar - das im Nebenhaus wohnt - ist herzlich und hilfsbereit - immer mit einem dezenten Abstand, so dass man sich nicht bedrängt fühlt. Die komplette Anlage kann ich bestens weiterempfehlen. Freizeitaktivitäten wie Mountainbiken, Wandern oder Schwimmen im See, z.T. Wassersport sind gegeben. Das Restaurant La Gabella in Maccagno ist sehr zu empfehlen.
