About this property
Sierra at Rubicon - 3 BR, Panoramic Lake Views, Private Hot Tub HOA Private Beach!
With stunning panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and elevated comforts throughout, this exceptional West Shore mountain retreat is the kind of place you'll never want to leave. Tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the coveted Rubicon Bay neighborhood, this lakefront vacation home blends tranquility with adventure and luxury with nature — all while offering access to the exclusive Rubicon HOA beaches and amenities.
The main living level is a showstopper, with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame jaw-dropping views of the lake and let natural light flood the space. An open-concept design connects the elegant living room, cozy fireplace, and stylish dining area, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere for gathering. The well-appointed kitchen features granite countertops, high-end appliances, and a large prep-friendly layout that keeps you connected to the conversation and the views — perfect for group dinners or relaxed mornings over coffee.
Step outside onto the expansive upper deck, where summer days invite grilling, dining al fresco, and soaking in the Tahoe mountain air. In the winter, curl up by the fire and watch the sun set over the lake in glowing winter hues.
The spacious primary suite is conveniently located on the main level and offers lake views right from your king bed. The ensuite bathroom is spa-inspired, with double vanities, a soaking tub, and a separate walk-in shower — a perfect retreat after a day on the trails or the slopes.
Downstairs, you'll find a welcoming entertainment area with a second fireplace, large flat-screen TV, and direct access to the covered lower deck, where a private hot tub awaits. Set against the backdrop of unobstructed lake views, it's the ideal spot for unwinding beneath the stars. This level also includes two guest bedrooms and a bonus sleeping area: one lake view room with a queen bed, another with two full beds and a spacious closet, and an additional room with a queen bed and private outdoor access to a quiet patio space — perfect for a peaceful morning coffee.
And while the lake views are undeniably breathtaking, the real crown jewel of this property is access to the coveted Rubicon HOA amenities — including two private sandy beaches, swimming areas, shared piers, volleyball courts, and miles of hiking and biking trails. In the winter, you're just a short drive to Homewood Resort, making this an all-season getaway like no other.
This luxurious Lake Tahoe vacation home offers the best of both worlds — a private and peaceful mountain setting with easy access to world-class recreation and exclusive lakefront perks.

ABOUT THE AREA
Rubicon Bay is located on the majestic West Shore of Lake Tahoe in an area known as the “Gold Coast.” Positioned just south of Meeks Bay and Sugar Pine Point State Park, this area is known for its seclusion. Choose the difficult but rewarding Rubicon Peak Trailhead at the back of this neighborhood, or take a short drive to Meeks Bay Marina or D.L.Bliss State Park for alternate hiking, biking, and snowshoeing options. Homewood Mountain Resort is only 8 miles North, proving you can have seclusion and convenience.
