About this property

Family friendly villa, gated community, spa, heated pool, close to theme parks.

Come and stay at our family retreat 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms at the Terra Verde vacation resort. Your own private space, yet close to the clubhouse and pool. Just minutes from Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Legoland, Orlando's International Airport, restaurants and shops. A perfect spot to enjoy the parks and a spacious retreat to return to.

Terra Verde is a resort community and there is plenty to do if you want to skip the theme parks/crowds. The resort pool is great to swim in or you relax in your own private hot tub. You can have a drink at the poolside, rest in the nearby hammocks, or sit out on your own private patio. Entertainment for the kids includes a playground, mini golf, table tennis, games, basketball hoop and pool. For older kids/adults there is an exercise room, volley ball and a tennis court.

The theme parks are nearby. There are several other attractions less than 10 minutes. Celebration is a model town, planned by Disney, that is well worth a walk/cycle around. Dine in one of the great restaurants or sample the ice cream shop. Shingle Creek regional park has historic housing, a nature trail through the cypress swamp and an excellent canoe/kayak rental. center. You can canoe/kayak through pristine swamp and see birds and turtles. Further afield is Cape Kennedy, check for launch dates and see the museum. There is nothing more stunning than watching a rocket take off and then see the first stage land on the nearby pad.

We pride ourselves on a fully furnished, clean, and up to date unit. Additions include new tiling downstairs and laminate upstairs. The living room has a leather sofa bed. Our property manager is excellent and has an office on site . We have lots of entertainment options including a large TV. There is free internet throughout the villa. All bedrooms have TV and cable. There is also a selection of board games. Useful for the evenings or quiet days at home. Our townhouse is kid friendly with a crib/playpen, highchair, baby gate, and patio alarm. It is fully furnished with plenty of sets of towels for both the bathrooms and pool. The kitchen is fully equipped including pots, pans, coffee maker, kettle and lots of dishes and cutlery.

For added security our unit has an electronic door lock so you do not have to worry about late entry or losing the key plus an additional keyed entry if you want extra security. We actively solicit guest feedback and have added extra wine glasses, an overhead fan in the master bedroom and a BBQ in response to guest suggestions.

Please note there is a one time per vehicle $20 fee for a gate pass.

Great Vacation

Amazing Property

This place was honestly great overall. It has everything you need to have a perfect stay/vacation. TVs in every room as well. The kitchen it fully stocked and the grill works great! The resort itself has a lot of amenities also. Close to a lot of attractions too. Highly recommend!

Paradise in Kissimmee

The townhouse was beautiful, completely outfitted, and a block away from all the activities at the community clubhouse and heated pool. A perfect get-a-way in February. We spent the month in Terra Verde's gated community at a very reasonable rental price. We strongly recommend this rental.

Our family of five really enjoyed our week stay in this townhouse. It had lots of room, was nicely decorated, had a well-stocked kitchen, and is in a great location for Disney and Universal amusement parks! Our only complaints- we had to kill a cockroach and the DVD player didn't work! Overall, highly recommended!

Great stay at Terra Verde

We stayed at this condo for 2 weeks in January. I would highly recommend it! The location was about 25 minutes away from Universal Studios and 20 minutes to SeaWorld. The condo itself is in a quiet gated community. If you need any groceries or basic essentials, there are Walmarts and Dollar Trees within minutes. Thanks for letting us stay at your wonderful condo!!

Terre Verde nice

Yes, Terre Verde is really nice. Esthetically pleasing, nice pool area, good tiki bar. Our VRBO unit was sort of okay. Dog hair on the throw pillows, steps going upstairs have been redone with very shabby workmanship, hot tub was not hot. Other than that, the place was functional. It did have a good gas grill.

I am sorry that the hot tub was not hot. It was completely rebuilt shortly before your arrival and we could have checked into this. The hot tub does have to be 'woken up' a few hours before use. The bottom step has problems with the edging for which I have not yet found a good solution. All the other hardwood is correctly installed. I will pay more attention to better cleaning after dogs have been in. They are not allowed on the furniture.

Very Nice Resort

My son in law attended a conference in Orlando and we decided to stay at a condo while he worked for 4 days. My daughter, 3 grandchildren and myself enjoyed the resort. It is very nice and the condo is very comfortable. We were a bit disappointed the pool was closed for repairs part of the time we were there, but Jon went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time especially for the kids. Thanks so much for all you did and I will be sure to recommend your condo to anyone staying in the area. Hope we will get the chance to stay there again!

Best place to stay

Terra Verde is just off the main drag, so to speak, and was the best place to stay. Our of the hustle and bustle of traffic.The townhouse had everything we needed for the week. It was quite honestly one of the best, most relaxing vacations we've ever had. The resort was a blast, and the Tiki bar was a godsend. Our 13 year old played basketball everyday with other kids he met, and the pool area was great. We played shuffleboard and ping pong. Our dog came with us and she loved the lizards, cross and ducks. Everything was perfect!! Will definitely visit again!

We're sorry to hear about the problem. We do routine pest control and we called for a recheck as soon as we heard of this issue. It is important to keep food covered when you are not actively using the kitchen due to the subtropical climate sugar ants can be a concern.

We were lied to in the documents about parking. Passes are $20 each car and NON REFUNDABLE. When the Internet didn’t work(along with TVs for streaming, it took many calls and texts to get no help. The ac it took a couple of days but much time wasted trying to get help. Worse vacation ever

This review is inaccurate. The AC was fixed within 24 hours of the guest notifying management. Regrettably, the internet was down for 4 days. The guests initially wanted a full refund for all their fees. We settled on a partial refund which the guests was fair compensation for their inconvenience. The first I learnt of these problems was after the guests had left. Should future guests have problems that cannot be resolved by management, I would hope to hear of this so that I can help resolve the situation.

Location to Disney and universal was great. Away from the craziness but close enough drive. Complex itself was exactly what we expected. First night there we had to have a pest company come as the countertop was covered in gnats. Pest company said they came, still saw bugs entire stay. Was there 8 nights and the hot tub didn’t work one night we were there. The water never got above 80°. Spoke with owner who said they would call maintenance for it, not sure if they ever did. Master bedroom tv went out second to last night so those in that room had to go without If the hot tub and bug problem gets fixed, we would 100% stay again!

Had what we needed & good location

Only real issue was Communication was not very good. We received an email quite a bit before with codes to get in the door and a code for the master key lock box but neither of those were correct. I emailed 5-6 hours before about checking in and asked to be notified when the property was ready, but we never received any response. When we arrived at the property at 7:30 at night, the code didn’t work and the key in the master box was only for the door knob, not the bolt. Thankfully, the emergency number did answer right away and give us a new code. The property was clean enough. The location was good as well. We did have raccoons try to chase us into our townhouse when it was storming lol, so please be aware of that. The place had everything we needed to survive for a week as far as dishes, bedding, etc.. Nice pool area, but be warned that they have signs that say you can’t bring in food or drink because they want you to buy from their bar. Last thing, if you like it cooler in your house, be aware that they have it locked so you can’t turn it lower than 72. It was fine for us though. We were at AAU Boys volleyball tournament and the night before we left, we had to play until midnight and then be back at 7am, leaving us with only a few hours of sleep, so we didn’t leave it as clean as we usually do…our apologies for that. I LOVE to clean and usually leave it better than we arrived. Overall I would recommend this place.

Well stocked condo in convenient location for Disney/Theme Parks

The property was in a nice location, convenient to Disney. The condo was clean and well stocked with linens and all necessary kitchen utensils/equipment. The grounds were well kept and the pool area was very nice. Unfortunately the two issues we had with the property overshadowed the positives with our visit. We rented this unit for the outdoor patio with hot tub. My kids were looking very forward to the outdoor hot tub - and it was not working correctly. It shorted out (turned off) every few minutes, so if you wanted the hot tub to stay on, you had to walk out of the back gate and flip the breaker every few minutes. We asked it to be repaired, but it was not repaired during our visit. We were told to use the Club hot tub, which was also out order. The other issue we had was that the thermometer was set to stay at or above 72 degrees. We were told during the summer months, it would not cool below 75 degrees and to utilize the provided fans and open windows at night. The problem with that was that the air conditioner was never cool enough to remove the humidity from the unit. So even with the fans, it was an uncomfortable damp feeling at all times. We have lived in Central Florida and now live in a very humid region as well. This "damp" feeling inside at all times was a new experience. Had we known the ac was locked at 72, we could have chosen another location. However, despite the temp/humidity and hot tub malfunctioning, the unit was very well appointed and in a good location for a family visiting the area.

Why they chose this property

Our house is close to the major theme parks. It is set in a relaxing gated resort community. We love having the freedom to chose between Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, Legoland, or even a trip to Cape Canaveral one day and being able to chill out by the pool the next. You can choose between dining out, having a meal in your townhouse or a BBQ beside the pond. We love having the extra space that is not readily available in a hotel. We chose this property after looking at a lot in the Kissimmee area because Terra Verde is an exceptionally nice (top rated) gated community and the Mediterranean style houses are well built.

Terra Verde is family and senior friendly with a pleasant walk around the small central pond with fishing and palm trees. Our home is very close (less than 3 minutes walk) to the clubhouse, pool, climbing area, basketball court, beach volleyball, and playground.. Orlando has great connections to the US, Canada, and Europe.

What makes this property unique

Our property backs onto the nature reserve, which gives it additional privacy. However, it is within easy walking distance of the clubhouse and pool with all their amenities. There are two Queen beds with a highly rated mattress and a selection of pillow types for a good nights sleep. The third bedroom has 2 twins. All have TV and WiFi. There is a walled in patio with plenty of chairs and a working spa that can accommodate up to 8 people.
