Welcome to Starlyte Sands!

**Please note that a 7-Night (Fri-Fri) minimum is required between May 24-September 2, 2024. There is a 3-night minimum stay for any time outside of that timeframe.**

Located just East of Rt 1 in Rehoboth in The Forgotten Mile this well-appointed, three-level, four-bedroom townhome is close to both Rehoboth and Dewey Beaches. Tanger Outlets is less than 2 miles away, and scores of local restaurants within 5 miles. So many mini-golf courses in that same area that you'll never be able to get to all of them in a week! Funland, with bumper cars, rides, and arcade games is 1.2 miles away.

Parking for 3 cars, and 2 Rehoboth Town Parking Permits Included! Note that the permits are only required during the summer season.

Staying at Starlyte Sands will be an unforgettable experience. As you walk through the front door, you will be greeted by a wall of whimsical hooks, setting the mood for a fun stay. The furnishings and decor are personally chosen, creating a vibrant and inviting ambiance.

The living room is equipped with comfortable seating arrangements and a flat-screen TV, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the local area. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary appliances and amenities, ideal for whipping up your favorite meals or trying your hand at local recipes.

The bedrooms offer cozy sleeping arrangements with comfortable beds and plenty of closet space for your belongings. The bathrooms are spacious and modern, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of adventure.

The outdoor space gives you the opportunity to enjoy the lovely weather without leaving the house. The property has a deck off of the gathering area, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or a relaxing glass of wine in the evening. There is a patio area off of the first-level master suite at ground-level, as well.

First floor contains foyer, garage and one of the master suites with attached bathroom and walk-out patio. Garage is stocked with sand chairs and toys to use while you visit (and a beverage refrigerator!) There is a beach cart to haul your stuff, if you decide to walk to the beach.
The second floor is the main living area with a large kitchen w/breakfast area and bar seating overlooking the dining area. There is a large great room and a powder room.
The comfortable sectional sofa and wall mounted TV is great for the whole group to gather. The TV stand contains tons of DVDs, games & puzzles, and books to enjoy during your visit. There is also a deck (overlooking green space) on this floor for your leisure. The third floor contains another master suite with attached bathroom, two bedrooms with bunk beds, and a hall bathroom.

There is also a heated pool (open from Memorial Day through Labor Day) exclusively for the 8 units of Scarborough Square! There is enough parking for 3 cars (and garage space for bikes, scooters, etc.). This home backs up to an elementary school with playgrounds, fields, basketball, tennis and pickleball courts for your use (during non-school hours).

It’s just a 0.9-mile jaunt to the beach via the Turtle Bridge over Silver Lake.
Close to Rt 1 transportation, shopping (tax-free!), and restaurants.

The property sleeps up to 12.

This place had so much room for our family! We loved being able to eat and relax and not feel like we were on top of each other. The listing was very accurate. The parking passes were a huge bonus and a huge money saver. We love having access to a pool for the older kids. The hosts were excellent, super responsive and accommodating. There were a few hiccups early on and they were on top of it ensuring our stay was top notch. We would definitely stay again!

It's been a dream of ours to have a home away from home near the beach, so after years of saving, Starlyte Sands was born! We call our primary home the Starlyte Lounge as we collect retro barware and are fond of tiki drinks and fancy cocktails. So it only made sense to name our vacation home something similar. We stay there often in the shoulder season (and anytime during the summer that it is vacant!)

We live in Annadale, VA just a few miles inside the DC beltway. My husband is a software engineer and I am a Realtor serving Northern Virginia and DC. (www.homesforallva.com) When we aren't working you can find us at the Anthem or 9:30 Club catching a show. We love movies and books (especially anything sci-fi/fantasy/horror) and go completely overboard for Halloween (which is the BEST holiday!)

Our children are grown so we dote on our 3 cats and dog. We also foster kittens for the AWLA. (You can follow me at @catwranglerrealtor to see some great kittens and homes!)

Why they chose this property

It's a great neighborhood with friendly people and a heated POOL! Since it is only shared by 8 townhomes it's almost like our very own private space. Most of our neighbors are either full-time or regular weekenders.

It is spitting distance from all sorts of great restaurants and shops. Tanger outlets are only a few minutes away. There is a lot to do in Rehoboth Beach! But in case of a rainy day, we have lots of games and puzzles to pass the time.

Cape Henlopen State Park is great, offering miles of shoreline, walking trails, and an observation tower. The park features alluring landscapes with sandy beaches for swimming, fishing, and sunbathing, along with maritime forests ideal for hikers and birdwatchers.

Gordons Pond is another scenic nature reserve, just south of Cape Henlopen State Park. This area offers a serene atmosphere for kayaking, paddling, and birdwatching. The pond offers stunning views of the coastline, wildlife sightings, and vibrant sunsets.

The Delaware Seashore State Park is also a great nature destination featuring miles of white sandy beaches, nature trails, and diverse marine ecosystems. The park's beaches are perfect for water sports enthusiasts and relaxation seekers alike.

Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk is a famous tourist destination offering visitors a unique experience along the sandy shores of the Atlantic coast. The boardwalk features numerous shops, restaurants, and amusement parks, all within a few steps from the beach. Additionally, the boardwalk offers serene views of the ocean, making it an ideal place for a morning or evening walk.

Lastly, the Indian River Inlet Bridge is a bit of a drive, but worth it. The bridge offers a mesmerizing view of the bay and the surrounding marshes, making it an ideal location for fishing and photography. The bridge's trails are also perfect for walking and cycling.

Because it IS our second home, we try to make sure it has all of the necessary comforts. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

The Starlyte Sands features two master bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Additionally, there are two more bedrooms, one with a twin and a bunkbed, and the other with 2 bunkbeds. There is a hall bath on the upper level, and a powder room off of the kitchen, making a total of four bedrooms and 3 and a half bathrooms.

The living area is bright and open, perfect for gathering with friends and family. The open floor plan provides plenty of space for everyone to relax, socialize, and enjoy each other's company. Step outside onto the balcony and have your morning coffee or maybe an evening cocktail.

Every room in the house is fitted with ceiling fans to keep you cool and comfortable. The fully appointed kitchen comes equipped with a blender, waffle maker, crock pot, Keurig coffee maker, and drip coffee maker, so you can cook up a feast or enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. There's even a jacuzzi tub in the upper master bath for you to relax in after a long day of exploring the local attractions.

This vacation rental sleeps up to 12 guests, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their own space. Additionally, there's a washer and dryer provided for your convenience, so you can pack light and stay fresh throughout your stay.

You'll have access to free Wi-Fi and select streaming services, so you can stay connected and entertained throughout your vacation. And if you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle, you can head to the community pool for a refreshing swim.

It is SO close to everything. We also back to Rehoboth Elementary School which has an awesome playground, basketball and pickelball courts for use when school isn't in session.

The Turtle Bridge at the end of our street takes you over Silver Lake and it's great to see all of the turtles come up to greet you! (Please don't feed them!) The area is also very flat which makes bike riding nice. There is a great bike path that takes you through some nice park area.
