Loved the over all home away from home autmosphere. Total zen. The property was amazing with wildlife and peacful solitary. Totally would recomend to anyone.
My group and I were looking for a home/cabin in a secluded wooded area to get away from the city and relax for the weekend. This place was perfect! There was plenty of space for all of us, the kitchen was well stocked and clean, and the view off the back deck was fantastic. It was a very peaceful spot with almost direct access to hiking trails. We loved our stay!
This home is spacious and the location is beautiful! Loved watching all the wildlife, including a skunk! He peacefully walked by and didn't create any issue. The owners are very thoughtful by providing little extras to make this home more comfortable, including a coffee bar and toiletry items. Highly recommend this amazing home!
Great cabin to enjoy our Thanksgiving getaway. We enjoyed staying here, everything you would need at home was provided here. This cabin is beautiful, clean and plenty of room for a family. We will definitely plan on staying here again.
My husband and I spent a wonderful 4 days of in depth visiting and hiking with our son and his wife and 2 children, aged 11 & 9. The kids loved the recreation room and piano. We all loved the recrelaxation. The showers are great. I would recommend doing more cooking at the house as Pine's restaurants aren't the best. And this is not our first time sampling. But the views of the Rim are wonderful. Although not from this house.
Our little family loves this quiet location and the house works perfect for us! Hiking is right out the back door too! We hope to return again soon. Thanks Lisa for another great stay.
Our family stayed here to attend our niece’s wedding. Great place! Very clean and well-equipped. Beautiful setting. We even saw an elk up close! Thank you!
Nice property. Quiet, relaxing, and everyone enjoyed seeing the elk come through the property! Thank you for letting us stay at your mountain hideaway!
Host was very responsive. The hiking trail just off the property was amazing. The deck was my favorite part and overlooked national forest. Convenient location but felt remote. Would definitely stay again.
I can't say enough about this property and location, The home is great the location is great. If your looking for a nice clean cozy get away for a relaxing vacation this is the place. We have stayed here two years in a row and plan to stay again next year. My wife and I love it.
Great experience. The house was wonderful. Lots of room. Enjoyed the game room and playing horseshoes! The host was great and very responsive. Would definitely stay again!
This is our second stay here. The house is spotless, the kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the deck is amazing. We watched the moon rise over the Mogollon Rim. Such a great escape from the city.
Excellent communication with the management team, beautiful perfect place for our family to gather for a nice mountain getaway. Everything we needed and so much space for everyone. We loved how the deer just walk right up to the porch.
Imagine stepping out onto your back porch and seeing National Forest land as far as the eye can see... Deer and Elk wander the streets, the house is beautiful.
Great property to enjoy Payson, the pine trees, and the wildlife. Lisa and David were very responsive to questions and helpful. The property is very nice with a big deck to sit and enjoy the forest behind the property. For the 5 days we were there we had elk behind the deck only 10-15 feet away from us feeding and resting. Wonderful experience to sit there and observe the wildlife.

The refrig./freezers were dirty alongwith the stove. Dishwasher was very hard to get to work.

We are regular visitors to Pine. The area is beautiful, and hiking is one of the big draws. Having the Good Enough Trail come straight to the edge of the property was a big help. My husband hiked down Pine Canyon Trail 9 miles directly back to the house.
The property is very clean and obviously well cared for. In all the years we’ve been using rental vacation homes, I have brought at times my own utensils and pans for cooking because some of the homes simply do not stock very good cooking tools. This house had everything. I never even brought out the bag.
The separate game room was a huge hit with the grandkids, we were visited by a young family of elk, and we had plenty of room to spread out and find little little areas of our own. The gorgeous deck overlooked the National Forest directly behind, and the Mogollon Rim, which is one of our favorite parts of Arizona.
Lisa was a pleasure to deal with, very timely on answering questions, and helpful with information. We appreciated the nice touches in the house and are very anxious to return someday. We highly recommend this place, but it is with mixed feelings, because we want to have it available to us when we return!
Enjoy Pine, get to the pizza place, go up to the lavender farm, hike the nearby trails, and enjoy the elk, deer, and other wildlife right out the back deck.
My friends and I had a nice, relaxing stay. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The house was very clean. The kitchen/pantry were well stocked and had all the amenities we could possibly need! Sitting on the deck with our coffee/wine enjoying the cool, fresh air was the best! And there was an entire cabinet full of games to play! I would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future!
This property is so special to us. It creates a time and place for us to be family and enjoy each other company. There is natural wildlife on our property.
