Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please leave used sheets on the beds and place used towels on the bathroom floors. There's no need to strip the beds.
Please bag and tie all garbage, place it in the outside trash pail, and secure the lid with the strap. Please do not leave loose garbage in the pail.
Please log out of personal streaming accounts, close all windows, and make sure the sliding deck door and basement door are locked before locking the front door.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Primary renter must be 25 or older. Only registered guests permitted. All guests, including children, must be on the reservation (maximum 8).
Fernwood is a peaceful retreat. Parties, events, and gatherings are not permitted. Please respect the quiet surroundings and neighboring properties.
No pets, smoking, vaping, or candles. Please treat our soft pine floors and furnishings with care. Furniture must remain in its original location.

This place looks even better than what we have seen from the pictures. Everything within the property was very well maintained, organized and cozy. Paul and Chuck put a lot of hard work and love into this place. They included everything that was needed for a comfortable stay in an outdoors cabin, even things you wouldn't have considered in the first place. We were searching for a place to take a break from the city's atmosphere(the sound, the people,etc) and this place answered our needs for that. If we could keep this place a secret we would, but it would not be fair to Paul and Chuck.

I have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this is by far the cleanest, most comfortable one I have ever had the pleasure of staying at!! Immaculately clean, super thoughtful perks, very comfortable beds. The place was stunning 10/10, no room for improvement. Highly recommend!! :)
