I had to call customer service twice the day of the check in, almost at the exact time I was already supposed to be checked in, just to get the host to respond with the check-in instructions. Not to mention the fact that he was rude and insulting. Would not recommend whatsoever. Did not end up staying in this residence. Would be funny if it wasn't so disgusting.
Property was nice. Furniture was loved. Kitchen items were well stocked (pots pans etc). Bedding was nice and clean. Plenty of space for our crew of 9. Check in/out was easy. Host was very responsive.
The house is spacious and well appointed, and there's plenty of parking. The owner was great to deal with, and very helpful.
I would highly recommend this property and will stay here again on my next trip to Wilmington.
We stayed at this property for UNCW family weekend. It is clean, well located relative to the University, beach and restaurants, and provided an excellent space for relaxing with family.
This property was excellent. It was well kept and comfortable. It’s centrally located and in a great neighborhood. Plus its close to Mission BBQ…which is a MUST if you visit Wilmington.
Accommodation was great and met our expectations as well. Place was very clean and neat, would stay again and would recommend this place to others.
Sincerely,
E. Miller
This house was perfect for my 5 other girl friends and I. There were plenty of beds for all of us and the living room was spacious enough for our game nights every night!
My family and I rented this house on 6-19-23. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was decorated lovely and every room was coordinated which was a homey feel to it. The location was great. Easy access to grocery stores, shopping, and a short drive to the beach. I highly recommend this house for a comfortable and fun vacation. The Host Brandon was very friendly and accessible and made us feel comfortable.
The property was clean, large, and in a nice location. We had a great stay! Was kind of confused as the only check-out instructions were to lock the door but we just cleaned up after ourselves and I believe all was good
My family and I checked in late in the evening to a dirty house. I contacted Brandon immediately who was very apologetic and explained their must have been a mix up with the cleaners scheduled. The cleaners were also very apologetic. Long story short, I received a cleaning fee back but it still sucked to have to clean a house and wash sheets after a long day of travel and being at the beach. Other than that the house was beautiful and was able to accommodate my large group with us feeling like we had plenty of space. The house is not too far from the beach, grocery stores, and restaurants. Despite everything that happened we had a good stay.
This was the perfect place to stay in Wilmington! Exceeded our expectations. It has a great floor plan to accommodate large groups like ours. We were surprised that it felt so spacious; felt bigger than the actual square footage. Very clean and good towels! Nicely decorated and good appliances. It isn’t in the the downtown area, but such a sweet gem! We played games on the large dining room table. We would definitely stay here again if we came to Wilmington! Thank you!
Nice location close to uncw. Has another house on back of property shared driveway. The house is clean it just needs a little attention. The bunk beds in the kids room has exposed metal on the ends of bed that could easily slice a foot. One of the ladders is missing steps and has exposed bolts that could again cut a child. Upstairs has one remote for three TVs so be prepared to share. The bathroom is missing the spring holder for the toilet paper roll. (Not a big deal but not noticing detail is the theme) I would return to this house if the kids bunk beds got replaced otherwise would be a no
The property is not in a good neighborhood, it is right next door to some very run down mobile homes and there is another house, not sure if it is a rental property or not, but it is less than 500 ft. behind this house. Needless to say neither made us feel very safe. When I contacted the owner prior to renting about the location of the property to try to see what area it was located in I got no response, now I know why. The pictures of the house were accurate as far as the decorations etc. but there are many things that need to be addressed ranging from stained carpets and furniture to bad places on the ceilings and walls.

Disliked: Check-in, communication
The location is very convenient to UNCW. The home is large, with numerous sleeping options. It was fairly clean but does need maintenance. For large groups, you really can’t beat it.However, I don’t think I would stay there again for a few reasons. First, there has clearly been water damage in the home with evident ceiling stains, and even the bedding and pillows took on a musty smell that really made my allergies flare up. The beds were very firm, which some people might like, but not us. Also, several of the closets are missing half of their doors, and the rest are hanging on loosely. There is no Keurig, which is fairly standard in short term rentals. But, what really got me worried is the lack of check in instructions. None were sent in advance, or even the day of so as we drove into town I was beginning to wonder if we were going to be able to get in. I sent a message a few hours prior to arrival about it and got no response, which further increased my concern. At check in time I emailed again saying we were headed to the home, and finally at 3:29PM he sent a text with screenshots on how to get in. It felt odd having to pester him for something that should have been sent to me without prompting.
My 5 sisters and I do a trip in the fall each year. This year we chose Wilmington. We spent a day downtown with tours and visiting all the very unique shops at the Cotton Exchange, a day at the beach, and a day in Southport which has the most festive Christmas shop. We spent time in the house cooking and playing games in the fully stocked kitchen and dining room. This location was perfect for us!
We were so incredibly pleased with our stay! Great area close to everything. The house was impeccably clean, super comfortable and very aesthetically pleasing. This home really added to our whole wonderful Wilmington experience!
Even though my family and I were staying just for a single night, we were 100% satisfied with the accommodations. The home was well kept, albeit for a few broken blinds, but my sister and nieces were in awe at the overall look of the home. It was very spacious and extremely comfortable. It’s situated in the heart of Wilmington and allowed us quick access to downtown and nearby shops. The lister was extremely pleasant to deal with and I recommend this to anyone looking to travel to Wilmington. I hope to be able to stay again.
