Great house and great host! Robert was super responsive and made recommendations on things to do and restaurants in the area. If you are going to Beech Mountain, you will love staying at this beautiful home!
We had a great stay. The house was perfect and comfortable. Less than 5 minutes from the ski resort. We saw so many deer right in front of the house, hung out in the enclosed deck (best part of the house), took a nice nature walk on the golf course, kids loved the air hockey and fooseball in the loft. The host was very responsive and kind. We will definitely be back!

Thank you, Karina! We love the deer and the golf course too. We’re glad your kids enjoyed the game room!
This is a very nice house in a very nice location. It was clean, had a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of towels and great TV's. That said...the description of the property said there was an Air Hockey table and/or Foosball table. There was none to be found. Although the owner said we could be guests at the club for a transfer fee, the fee proved to be too expensive to be worth it. We still made the best of our time and enjoyed our stay even though we were disappointed.
We absolutely loved spending time with our family at this beautiful, clean, spacious and well kept home. My youngest daughter immediately fell in love with the couch. We all had plenty of space to hang out and spend some quality family time together playing games, watching movies or having meals.
As a Floridian, use to straight, wide roads in +45 degree temps, the “getting there” was a bit … precarious?? Once you get use to it,… well, it can still be a difficult climb, but if you have a trustworthy car with good tires and all-wheel drive, you’ll do fine if your cautious and confident. I actually got to enjoying the driving myself.
The surrounding area is so worth the drive. We loved the little town. The friendly folks at the grocery store/deli, and the Famous Brick Oven Pizzaria.
We are already planning to do this again with the desire to stay longer and enjoy the amenities in the area.
This is our mens group's second annual stay at this property. It is great location with golf course in front and long views to the rear. New owners have made some great furnishing upgrades. Place is well stocked and clean.
After renting houses on Beech Mountain almost every year since 1981, this one is by far the closest to my dream house. It’s beautifully, eclecticly, comfortably decorated with a lovely Mountain View. Although only 6 of us stayed in the house, our extended family of 11, aged 7 to 85, gathered each evening to make dinner and play games, work on jigsaw puzzles, and enjoy a sing along. The kitchen is spacious and generously appointed. We had everything we needed. Also the house had plenty of nightlights, bedding, towels and games. Saving the best for last, our hosts, Robert & Tara were always friendly, responsive, and accommodating to our requests and questions. We’d definitely love to return to this beautiful home.
We're Robert & Tara. We live in Tampa with our three kids, and have always traveled as a family as much as possible. Our family couldn't be happier to be your hosts on your own vacation. Travel, and comfort, has always been a priority to our family. We're here to make your stay the best possible and hope you join us now, and in the future.
Why they chose this property
We absolutely LOVE being in the mountains. After visiting several other mountain areas in the southeast, we knew we wanted to be in a spot where we could enjoy mountain living in a resort setting all year long. Beech Mountain is truly unique, especially when compared to other east coast mountain settings. We fell in love with the traditional character of this home and the stunning views, while still being close to everything. It's private, yet central.
