The host was very accommodating. It was a great place for us to stay for an extend amount of time with all of the amenities of home. The location was wonderful, out in the country but not far from Newland or Spruce Pine. We hope to stay again in the future.

So glad you all enjoyed your time at the cabin. Thank you for coming to help our area recover after the storm! We look forward to welcoming you back!
No AC, but we really didn’t need it, 80 degrees for the high. I am a 6’ person, shower stall was too small for me! We loved the location of the cabin and would stay there again!

My 3 year old dubbed this the “adventure cabin.” We had a wonderful stay and everything was perfect! There were lots of pots and pans for cooking, the hot tub was so relaxing, and the peace of being in the mountains was unbeatable!

Love it “The Adventure Cabin”. Glad you all had a great getaway!
The cabin was just as listed. My wife and 3 year old son stayed for 5 nights with no problems. The hot tub was great and there cabin was in close proximity to everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to be able to visit again.

We loved the place, we did get a snow storm and had a little issues with internet and the driveway… but was expected for the amount of snow! Everything was great and the hot tub was a big plus!

We enjoyed everything about this property! Jessica has done a fantastic job of making you feel like you're at home. The cabin is remote enough to be beautifully peaceful, but just minutes from lots of area attractions. I have no doubt that we'll be back again!

Clean and cute. Neighbors dogs are so loud and persistent we could not be outside because they would not stop running to the house and barking at us. Kitchen has zero staples and the pans are in terrible condition with one exception. Worth a stay still, but bring your own kitchen and don’t expect peace and quiet if you aren’t indoors.
Stayed with our family there for just shy of a week and really enjoyed it. Highlights included the hot tub (with a lovely view of the surrounding woods and rhododendron bushes),the fire pit (with dry wood provided!!), the recliner sofa, a range of games, and TV/movie streaming options. My girls loved the bunk beds. We stayed out hiking most of the day and the creature comforts were perfect for relaxing in the evenings.

We are glad to here you had a great time and hope to host you again soon!
Clean cozy cabin convenient location. Fully equipped for all ages. We will miss making biscuits in the morning and enjoy watching fireflies by the campfire in the evening. The hot tub is large and very clean. The cabin itself is secluded with lots of privacy but still is right next to a street and other houses where we felt safe. The host is easy to reach and is very generous ! We will stay here again for sure !

So glad you guys enjoyed the fire place and fireflies. We love to share this truly magical place with others. Talk of making biscuits pulls on my heart strings as the place is made for this kind of family memories ❤️.
My wife and I spent our honeymoon here and enjoyed our stay! The home had fans in each room which we appreciated and stayed very warm at night even though the temps dipped down - we didn't even need to use the heaters. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and board games in the home. The beds are a little firm for our taste, so bring a topper if that's an issue for someone in your group! The kitchen was also pretty compact, but it had the basic necessities you would need.
Everything was great. No real issues with anything. Grill worked perfectly & the hot tub felt great at the end of each day. Only negative was the showers are definitely single person, elbow would change temp every time I turned around 🙃. Not a real big deal with the hot tub.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Pros: Hot tub, firepit, quiet neighborhood
Cons: Lamps in the living room could have better (brighter) bulbs for reading purposes, there's a drip in one of the showers that needs repairing, and the master bed mattress has some obvious wear.
We absolutly loved our stay at this cabin! It was perfect for my family. Everything was super clean, kitchen had everything we needed, the washer and dryer were a plus for us to take our clothes back home clean. From check in to check out, it was amazing. The owner, Jessica, was in constant communication with me incase I needed help with the heaters or anything else and responded quick if I reached out to her, and that always is a plus as well, she was amazing and my family and I will be staying at her cabin again when we head back to north carolina! If you are looking for a beautiful cabin getaway, we 10000% recommend this one! You wont be disappointed

Beautiful cabin, tucked into a great setting. There are some neighboring houses, but not too close. Very relaxing. Easy access the all the Linville attractions. Stocked with all the basics that you need. Jessica, the host was wonderful to deal with, communication was great. I highly recommend this cabin. Rustic, but modern. Beautiful wood walls throughout, awesome covered porch on the back, overlooking deep quiet woods. Fire pit in the front area. Electronic lock for easy entry made check in a breeze.
Pleasant clean cabin. Cool days in Nov. but noticed no AC for a summer visit. Very nice clean kitchen with everything we needed. Master bed a bit worn out. I slept great but she tossed and turned. Camera on the hot tub kind of creepy. Beautiful location. Nice bunk beds in 2nd room. The dead deers ... OK. The bear was a little .... Ahhh.

Thanks for the review and letting us know about the mattress.
We will get that replaced while it’s closed for the remainder of November.
Camera over hot tub is there to check on hot tub cover in between renters. We had it blow off once, killed the heating unit. No cameras are on during guest stay. We hope that gives you peace of mind.
In the event you want to visit in the summer. The hottest time of year in Newland is July. Topping out at 76 in mid day with cool summer evenings into the low 60’s.

The property was absolutely adorable, clean and perfect for our little get away.
If you use Google Maps, MAKE SURE TO STAY ON BUCKHILL ROAD! Google had us go up Wild Turkey road which was straight up a mountain...but we called Jessica and she answered right away and told us how to get to the property safely.
The only other minor inconvenience was the heater in the kitchen didn't work the first night, and when trying to light the pilot the lighter was out..but again, Jessica was right there in the phone with us to help walk us through it all. The next day we got a lighter and it was all good.
We absolutely loved the hot tub every night, loved having the fire pit in the front..it was such a relaxing vacation for our family. Can't wait to come back!
