The cabin was perfect for our weekend visit! We enjoyed the quiet and wished we had had time to walk the trail behind the property. The owner was very kind and responsive and we look forward to staying here again!

The cabin was perfect! My husband and I needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of it all. The cabin was very peaceful and quiet. We walked the trails behind the house and enjoyed watching the cows in the neighboring field. The night sky was breathtaking!We are planning a return visit in the fall.

Very clean and welcoming. Excellent communication from the host. Smooth check in process. Beautiful views we really enjoyed watching the deer each morning and seeing the cows. Plenty of provided amenities and it was even better than expected in terms of comfort and cleanliness. We would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing relaxing stay

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was very relaxing and secluded which we wanted. There is a small town a couple miles away that was very cute and welcoming. Look foward to another trip in the future!

I think this was the 4th or 5th time here and i think it's perfect in every way. Secluded yet close to the bright lights of Monterey, in case you need something or want a restaurant. We especially love the fire pit area, and the owner is the best!

Great cabin and property!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It had everything we needed, and the property itself was awesome. We enjoyed hiking the trail so well-maintained by the owner, and we even hung our hammocks up near the stream to read--amazing!

Best place in Highland County

I’ve been taking trips to Highland County for several years. This is certainly the best place. Super clean. Wonderful amenities including washer and dryer. Great place!

Great place to stay!

This home was lovely! High up on the mountain side the views are incredible. The house was clean and well taken care of. We've been staying in Monterey VA for several years and this is the nicest place so far. We already plan to return. Great owners were extremely nice.

Beautiful and Peaceful

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin, accommodations and enjoyed the cutout both evenings in June because nights are cool. Owners very responsive and have provided linens, towels and fire wood. We will definitely return soon!
