It's all about the adventure! It's in our nature to explore and learn. I love hosting and providing a great cabin for getaways! There's nothing like finding new places here to investigate for the hidden gems. It's all about the love of nature and connecting with friends and family. Keep on the lookout for wildlife, embrace the season changes and challenges only mother nature could whip up. It's really the simplicity of small cabin life coupled with your favorite people that makes this spot just cozy and fun!

Why they chose this property

The 'Cabin on the Ridge' is a special place. It couples an intense love of Maine & adventurous spirits. You can be out on the ITS trails in the winter...riding bikes here in the summer...or fishing from a kayak or canoe on Flagstaff lake. Cooking dinners in the kitchen and then watch the literal movie of our views while dining. There's something here worth sharing. This cabin was renovated with love. Its not perfect...it's not meant to be. The idea of a cabin get away to is a place that is perfectly imperfect. It's a little quirky but isn't that a little fun? It has the nuts and bolts to keep you safe and warm! It's got the welcome that makes you want to walk around and check it out. It's got the peace and charm that leaves you recharged when you head back your way. It's a little addicting!...It's home.

What makes this property unique

The cabin is perched up a little hill with some beautiful mountains to view. Each of the three levels offer views of the majestic Bigelow mountain range. Sugarloaf too! Multiple sitting areas to relax and give your friends and family plenty of chatting space. It's cozy, friendly and very comfortable. The outside firepit is perfect for big fish stories! Wildlife Sightings: Sitting on the couch one morning and caught movement from the from the front window. A bull moose was in pursuit of a mate who was trotting quickly down the driveway as she kept a safe distance in front of him. Once in a life time event! Deer yarding at the bottom of the property in the winter months. Pileated woodpecker taking a crack at a huge tree in the back. The hoot of an owl while the fire crackles. A fox on the hunt to feed her 3 kits playing in the grass. A red cardinal perched on a snow filed hemlock. Momma skunk waddling her 5 kits through the woods. A bald eagle perched on the branch of a white birch tree. As this is being written, the weather went from blue skies to whiteout snow. The mountains have their own schedule. Beauty comes with the territory. It's a roller coaster so hold on! With appreciation of the area and people of Eustis, the cabin is maintained to continue to respect and maintain the natural surroundings.
