About this property
Launch your Colorado adventures – Historic Downtown convenience
Come experience a cozy, modernized 1900 home located in the growing and gritty mixed commercial/residential community in downtown Grand Junction, just blocks away from the Riverfront and Las Colonias Park. The house, a.k.a 805, sits on the same property as our strength and conditioning facility, Ridgeline Fitness. If you are interested in learning more reach out to us!
805 was built in 1900!!!! We've modernized while preserving it's historical charm. Enjoy curling up in cozy bedrooms, one with its own infrared sauna. Then you can hang out in the main room equipped with 55" 4K Smart TV with Sonos surround sound and log into your favorite streaming service (Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, etc) to enjoy music sipping a local beverage in front of the picture window or relax by watching your favorite movie. We (often) have beer on tap in our kitchen kegerator from local Monumental Beer Works and more importantly purified reverse osmosis water to hydrate your Grand Valley adventures.
805 is the building on the property that sits closest to South Avenue, and guests typically access the home from the front door, which faces guest parking on South Avenue. Follow a concrete sidewalk to the front door. There is a motion detecting light to provide a well lit path after dark to the house. There is a security camera both at the front door and the back door of the house for safety. There are NO CAMERAS in the house. Please note that there are three stairs up to the front porch and three stairs up to the rear of the house, thus guests will need to be able to safely navigate a small number of stairs to access the property. There are no stairs in the home.
We have a free, dedicated parallel parking space for guests on South Avenue. There is free on the street parking on 8th street. 805 is a 5-10 minute walk to the best places on Main Street in Downtown GJ. AND bring your favorite bike! The Riverfront Trail (paved) can be accessed in 4 min by bike, and goes all the way to Fruita. Uber and Lyft are also available.
We have decorated 805 with eclectic artwork from our lives for you to enjoy during your stay! Since we don't live on the property, it's our way of sharing our experiences and personalities with you.

Very nice property. Very clean, spacious, comfortable beds and easy check in and communication. Located just blocks from Main Street with many shops, restaurants, breweries and art. Also blocks from the Riverfront Trail which is great for biking and walking. Would definitely return to this property in the future.
Best value for any rental we have ever stayed. The charming home is immaculate and comfortable. We loved the art, and the beer on tap. We also loved the walkable area- very close to restaurants, etc.
Cute little house! We stayed in Grand Junction for a hockey tournament so it was nice to be close to the rink. It is also close to the Colorado Riverfront Trail (paved path) that I used to get some miles in between hockey games. Beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked. Great place to stay!
We loved our stay Home was well decorated and very comfortable to stay in. I appreciated that the bed had a nice mattress, due to having a bad back. Thank you!
Great location! Perfect to walk downtown, to the theater and blocks away from the botanical garden and Riverfront Path. Home was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. Would definitely stay there again!
This is our go to unit when we visit Grand Junction. It is such a cool little house and only about a mile to downtown area. Kegerator is also a neat little addition! Perfect for 2 couples or small family.
Our host Adam was great, even letting us check in a few hours early. Very responsive and welcoming. The home is well furnished and comfortable. Excellent beds and dining area. For me the kitchen was outstanding! We have to eat a specific diet and the kitchen can make or break a vacation. Well stocked with cooking gear and functional appliances. Overall this property and host are wonderful. Thanks so much.
This property is a few blocks from downtown and it’s so cute! Extremely clean, comfortable, and very uniquely decorated. We loved it! It felt very welcoming and had everything we needed for our weekend in grand junction.
Always a pleasure. Close to downtown shops and restaurants. Just a few minutes from the Colorado River Walk. Adam and his wife stock the house with many organic items. It is vey clean and spacious. We have been here many times for the great hiking and Pallisade peaches.
Well kept home. Convenient location. Great communication from host. Thank you!

About the host
Hosted by Adam Ford
I'm 51, married, and own a gym in Grand Junction, CO. I enjoy climbing, hiking, beekeeping, archery, and gardening. I have two dogs, chickens and bees. I fell in love with Airbnb taking my daughter back to college in Oregon from Colorado. Getting outside the mainstream hotel chains has enhanced my experiences traveling and I'm excited to now host on the VRBO platform! I want to add dimension, uniqueness and convenience to your stay in Grand Junction!
Why they chose this property
I'm a Colorado native and moved to Grand Junction from Vail in 2002. I continue to be surprised and inspired by how much there is to do in the Grand Valley! Aside from the outdoor recreational opportunities here and within a two hour drive I love our thriving downtown, symphony, film festivals, good restaurants and farmers markets. I find the diverse down to earth feel of Grand Junction more appealing on a day to day basis than the synthetic resort culture of Vail and Aspen - and more affordable:-)
What makes this property unique
You will enjoy the charm, character and conveniences of this cozy 1900 home located in the original one square mile plat of the the city. Then as now you will find conveniences normally found in larger cities. The house is close to Downtown, Colorado Mesa University, Los Colonias Park and the Colorado River. Here are a few other things to consider:
- Big windows with lots of natural light - New organic hybrid mattresses - Awesome TV and sound system - Fast Wifi - Fully equipped kitchen - Occasional train that passes by. Not bad though!
