About this property

Cute 4 bed 2 bath cottage, short walk to shared road end dock.

This cabin is available year long -

Welcome Boaters, Vacationers, Hunters, Skiers, Relaxers & Snowmobilers!!!

4 bed 2 bath family cottage, 3 min walk to the beautiful Higgins Lake with community dock. newly redone fire pit, large yard, plenty of out door seating on the large deck, nice and quiet area. 6 mile drive to the Silver Dollar Bar and Grill. 5 mile drive to the public boat launch with plenty of parking. There is no boat mooring at the road end doc. Our place is not a party house, it for people to hang out and have fun. We ask that quiet time is 10 on week days and 11 on weekends. We have neighbors that have been there for along time and as our guests we ask that you to respect them. Public areas like the dock need to be repected and know that its used by many and many houses are around. Please refrain from using cursewords , there are kids around.

Very nice cottage! We were very comfortable and had everything at our finger tips! It was spacious and clean. It’s also near the water which was a bonus. The host has great communication skills and we give this vbro a 5 star rating!

This lovely cottage was perfect for our sisters’ getaway. The owners have lovingly updated it, preserving its vintage charm, while providing many modern conveniences. It has lots of sleeping room, outdoor seating, and a large fire pit. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need. It’s very clean. The beds are comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. What a wonderful place for a getaway. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Thank you so much for our stay. The property was beautiful. The dock was beautiful. I’m sorry we were a little late checking out. I lost my wallet thank God somebody turned it in and I was able to pick it up at the sheriffs office. I just want to apologize that I want to thank you for the stay. I’m sure we will be back next summer.

This is a beautiful cottage only a short walk to the lake. Higgins is a large recreational lake with 2 state parks and many launches. Kudos to the host for the tasteful, yet adorable lake decor. The house has JUST about everything you need, plenty of indoor and outdoor space. (Although having to bring our own towels was a quite inconvenience for us as we were traveling by air from out of state.) It's Ccose to dining options, Nibbles ice cream, and cute boutiques. The beds and bedding are so cozy and comfortable. Great outdoor spaces. Note: cottage is NOT for those who can't do stairs. Otherwise highly recommended!

Bedrooms need waste paper basket, mirrors , tv’s. Kitchen chairs need cushions. Nothing to swim with, it wasn’t a short walk to the water. Couldn’t park your car there so you have to carry everything cooler, chairs, swim toys then there’s no where to sit. No railings on outside steps very dangerous. There was two lamps in the bedroom but you could only plug in one.

A well appointed, clean and accessible property. While we didn’t have time to take advantage of the fire pit, it looked inviting. Check-in process was smooth and the necessary items for a comfortable stay were all there. Thanks for having us! Ps. The sheets on our bed were so cute & soft.

The small dock space at the end of the road includes a steep drop off with no beach area, just the dock, which was disappointing but fine - we just went to the state park instead. The exterior was very poorly maintained - mossy/moldy, chipped paint, weeds, dirt everywhere, fake flowers that looked like junk. The grass was very high, the deck was a mess, The patio set was disgustingly dirty and the chairs were falling apart. Nothing had been cleaned. On the interior, the floors were dirty, there was dust everywhere, the floor rugs were absolutely worn down and filty dirty. One of the bathrooms didnt even have floor rugs so the floor was always wet from the shower. Im not even certain this home was cleaned before we stepped foot in it. It did not appear that a regular cleaning crew comes in. The nicest part of the home was the outdoor firepit. Very disappointing.

We used this house as our home base for the Halloween weekend at Higgins State Park where my son was staying with his family. It was a great relaxing place to come back to after our fun family filled day at the state park. We would love coming back and staying here again as my son frequently stays at the campground with his family.
