Mountain Cabin in the woods-Tranquil Setting-2 bed 2 bath-Private-Deck-Views
Our tranquil fully equipped 2 bedroom/2bath little Cabin is located in Brasstown NC, off the beaten path in the woods, yet not too far from town. Approx. 10 miles in either direction to Murphy and Hayesville. 10 minutes to the Folk School. 20 minutes to Lake Chatuge for all of your water sports in the summer time. Just 15 minutes away is Fires Creek a beautiful drive and a hidden gem. It has a little waterfall and trail in the forest, where children and adults can paddle in the river and fish. A pretty 20 minute drive will take you to West Coast Tubing and Crane Creek Winery which is in a beautiful setting with views. The road up to the cabin is a winding, gravel road. A 4-wheel drive or traction control is recommended. The cabin is the very last one at the top of the winding road. It is private, peaceful, in the trees and has lovely views with a deck to enjoy them. The stars are amazing on a clear night, not to mention the sunsets and the fireflies glowing on a summer night! If you are lucky, you might see a bear, the deer come around on most mornings and evenings, a possum and who knows what else when you're not looking. The cabin has everything you need for your stay and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

About the host
Hosted by Teresa Allegra
Kevin and I are originally from England but have lived in the US for many years. Our primary home is in Florida near family and the beach, which we love but we also love getting away from it all to our quiet, peaceful mountain cabin. We wanted to become hosts to give others an opportunity to enjoy our cabin as we do, at a reasonable cost when we aren't using it.
Why they chose this property
We chose this cabin so that we can make family memories most of all. Also because of its ruralness but yet not far from mountain towns. It’s lovely views, quiet, peaceful setting in the woods, with the birds, deer, fireflies and whatever else we might see. To us it is a little gem.
What makes this property unique
Our cabin is in a pretty, peaceful, private location in the woods with lovely views and wild life, if you’re lucky enough to see them. It's a great getaway and well equipped with everything you need. Off the beaten path yet close to towns. There is a lot to explore in this area of North Georgia and Northwest Carolina. Rivers, streams, waterfalls, lakes, quaint mountain towns, beautiful wineries.
