We were there (2 families) for a soccer tournament and it was perfect. Very clean, everything we needed was there, close to downtown and the deck is an awesome bonus for when the kids are in bed and adults want to chat!

So happy my property worked out for you. It was a pleasure to host your group.
A modern, relaxing and well equipped property. The neighbourhood is quiet and attractive. It is just a short walk to the town, waterfront and local park.
This Vrbo exceeded our expectations! Lisa was very accommodating and the location made exploring the town a breeze. The place was clean and tidy as well. Highly recommended.

Very clean. Kitchen well stocked. Loved the deck
The property was clean and bright. It had everything you would need for your stay.
Loved that we could walk to the Victoria Park boardwalk. So convenient.
Would highly recommend this house!
Really nice spot, quiet neighborhood and well located. The weather was a hot And humid all week, with not air conditioning it was warm in the house but the fan in all the bedroom did help at night. I recommend the place.

The listing did state that there was no air conditioning, so yes, it can get warm! As an update, I now have AC! It was installed in January of 2024.
We had a great stay here, the house was nicely renovated and a perfect setup for our family of five. Quiet neighbourhood that was an easy walk to the waterfront park, and a nearby small grocer. A bit longer walk or very quick drive to downtown Charlottetown. Easy access for site-seeing day-trips and beaches. Great communication with owner as well.

The apartment is well located in a nice neighborhood on the top floor of a cute home. Our stay was wonderfully quiet. We enjoyed sitti n g out on the deck to read. It had more quality appliances than a well seasoned traveler has come to expect. The owner decoated beautifully make great use of baskets and storage areas
Lisa's place in the Brighton neighbourhood, Charlottetown was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. It was clean, well appointed, and conveniently located. It had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Having the Brighton Clover Farm Store just around the corner was a bonus! Walk down to the end of the street and see the lighthouse, then pick up the boardwalk and walk along the harbour to downtown. We didn't have a car, so the bus stop just at the end of the street was really convenient when it was raining. Would definitely stay here again!!
My two adult daughters and myself stayed in this house for a week. we found it close to the boardwalk, an easy walk to the centre of town and in a very nice neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. I would have liked to know that it was a duplex before we came (we never heard anything from the people below) and there was mold in the tub/shower. This may be because of the location to the ocean, I am not sure. All in all, we had a wonderful trip to PEI and the house was very comfortable.

Thanks for your review Carol. I am happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Yes, this property is an up/down duplex. You may have missed it, under "Why they chose this property", in my listing description, it does refer to the property as a duplex. Also in the listing, is a full walk through video that does demonstrate access, and the lower level tenant is mentioned under 'Amenities'; parking and outdoor spaces. I am sorry this caused confusion. In order to avoid this in the future, I will also add 'duplex' to my main description. Regarding the mold mentioned in the bathroom, I would appreciate if you could be more specific and perhaps message me. I have spoken with my cleaner, and I have personally scrubbed the grout and caulking. I have not seen any mold. The bathroom renovation is older so it would show more wear than than the kitchen renovation of 2021. My guests and my ratings are very important to me. I do value all feedback, as this is how I learn to improve. Thanks so much.
One of the best VRBO's that we have stayed in! The location was perfect (5-minute walk from neighborhood grocery store; 10-minute walk from Victoria Park; 15-minute walk from downtown, 15-minute drive from UPEI). The house was spotlessly clean with paper goods provided. There were even playmates and a swingset, much to our 7-year-old granddaughter's delight.
We were a three-generation family -- grandparents, parents, and two children. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Some of us spent time relaxing and reading on the large deck outside of the light-filled kitchen.
Any time that we had questions for Lisa, she was very prompt in responding and made us feel welcome.
I highly recommend this home, and we look forward to returning in two years for our next conference in Charlottetown.

FYI Mark, I know have AC and ceiling fans in each bedroom!
See you again.
Overall, property was just as listed. Very clean and very well equipped.
In fact, the host provided extras such as sunscreen, body wash, Tupperware, Ziplocks, aluminum foil etc. Easy access by car, or by walking (approx. 15 min) to downtown Charlottetown. 5 min walk to Victoria Park and boardwalk. Quiet , well maintained and residential neighbourhood. Quick and easy access to all highways to explore the island.
Great little grocery store around the corner which surprisingly has most things that you would need.
Host was easily contacted and responded quickly.
We had some very hot weather during our stay. We booked it knowing we did not have AC. We fortunately brought 2 large fans which kept the unit somewhat comfortable. Bedroom ceiling fans were helpful.
Overall, I would definitely recommend.

I have AC now if you ever come back. I also installed ceiling fans in each bedroom.
It was a great house pretty decor, very comfortable, beautiful neighbourhood, central to everything. If you’re staying when it’s hot please keep in mind the lack of ac… there are bedroom ceiling fans and we picked up a cheap one for the Iiving room and kitchen which made it manageable, For the most part we were out.
I was born and raised in PEI. My family dates back to 1760 on the island. My father was a residential builder, (both grandfathers were self sufficient farmers), and we owned rental apartment units on the outskirts of Charlottetown. I spend most of my time in the GTA, (for now). My career path has always been sales and marketing, in many different fields/industries. I built my own home in PEI in 2012, which I use as a vacation rental when I am not on the island; Westville Vista, #468619 with VRBO. I have been working as a real estate broker in Ontario for 17 years and now also a licensed real estate agent in Prince Edward Island as well; dually licensed in both provinces.
Why they chose this property
My family home is in the rural area of New Dominion, just outside Cornwall, and 15 minutes from Charlottetown, on the south shore. My favourite neighbourhood in Charlottetown has always been the established older and prestigious area of 'Brighton.' The reasons will be obvious; stately and quaint homes, on or close to the water, close by amenities of Victoria Park, the walking boardwalk of the waterfront area, and of course the ability to walk downtown to explore and dine. I was looking for an investment property that I would potentially use as my own at some point. With the big yard and large square footage, and being a duplex, it matched perfectly.
What makes this property unique
All mentioned previously, plus, a one minute walk around the corner, to the right, you will find a local boutique grocer that has absolutely everything you would need for your entire stay and much more. It. has fresh meats and vegetables along with many different ethic spices and ingredients.
