Overall a positive experience
The house is large and accommodates a large family like ours. The property manager is responsive and helpful to the minor things that needed to be addressed. I would definitely recommend getting a car for the property. While San Juan or the beaches were not a far distance, the drive times with traffic meant 20 - 30 minute trecks to most places, The house was definitely set up for entertainment with huge refrigeration and cooking potential, but the house was very minimally furnished and the kitchen was definitely under-furnished. We needed to run the dishwasher between meals to have enough silverware for 11 people, even though the house supposedly accommodated 16, knives were ancient and needed sharpening and utensils for cooking were adequate, but not up to the standards of the house, etc. Some of the mattresses are also due for an upgrade, and the inability to open drapes and blinds in the master suite limited the enjoyment of that space. I suggest preparing basic instructions for the house and checkout requests, although taking out the trash was the only requirement per the property manager the day before checkout. The New Years Eve fireworks all around the house were fabulous if you happen to rent at year-end!
