Wonderful spot to stay with family and friends for our daughter’s graduation weekend. Lots of room and amenities. We enjoyed the living space with the wall of windows and everyone loved the game room. The weather was perfect for the hot tub and fire pit on the deck. More than we expected! We will be back.
Great property for a multi-generational family gathering! Space for everyone to gather together, but also enough space to get away. Proximity to Boone is perfect. We didn't really spend any time there during the day- we were always out doing something, but had very pleasant evenings.

The home was absolutely gorgeous & had every amenity you could think of. I have already recommended to an App State parent and we’ll definitely be back. 6 folks in out crew , ages 19-55 and everyone was thrilled with their personal room/space.

This is a nice cozy cabin. The entrance to the property is pretty steep specially if you are going during winter. The property is managed by Carolina Cabin Rentals, which we called for an issue with the heating and they never show up. They outside fire pit was left with no propane gas.

Thank Yovanis for sharing. We apologize regarding the propane for the fire pit. The gas provider was notifies and we are sorry that they did not get there in time for you to enjoy that particular amenity.
We chose this cabin since our family lives about 4 miles away. It was a great choice. Tucked away in a very wooded lot was this beautiful A frame cabin. Definitely a lot of stairs so keep in mind for anyone who cannot manage stairs. Clean and comfortable. Well stocked. We didn't get to use all of the accommodations but it was nice knowing there was a firepit, hot tub and game room on hand. Switches and remotes were all labeled so it was a big help. Laundry is tucked into the downstairs bathroom closet. Steep driveway and parking is under the deck. Suggestion: If you plan on coming into the house after dark, leave outside lights on. It's very dark!! We will definitely stay again.

Nice but unprepared for our arrival
This is a very nice home and the listing describes it very well. Unfortunately it had snowed 2 days before our arrival and the very steep drive way had not been plowed or salted. We had to climb up the driveway to obtain shovels to be able park at the bottom. Then the heat had been turned off and the inside temp was 44 degree's. Only the auxiliary heat was available. We slept in coats the first night. Was fixed the next afternoon however there are no vents in the upstairs bedroom so it remained very cool. Made the best of it but was disappointed.
This place is great for bringing family together. There is plenty of space and it’s very comfortable. It’s close to many local attractions. The driveway is very steep.
