The overall house was nice. However, there’s some nuances in the house that make the house look a little less than. The wall lights leading up the stairs to the bedrooms have taken a beating.

A great place to be between outings for a long weekend! We loved the hot tub in the evenings and the number of bathrooms!!

Great house, needs some work , small pool surrounded by trees so hard to stay clean, 1 adult bedroom stayed too warm. Lots of sitting areas. TVs great.

An Amazing Vacation Rental

We had a wonderful time. Everything was just as pictured. They left the best part out if I remember correctly. I didn’t recall seeing the bathroom number but every room had its own. It was amazing. The bunk room was right on time for the children. We loved being in the pool and jacuzzi…We will definitely be staying here every family trip to Charleston…

Perfect spot for entertaining a large group but can also accommodate needs for privacy

This was the perfect spot for our family of 12. Every family unit had their own bedroom that included a bathroom! Perfect! We had plenty of indoor and outdoor space for lounging, eating, gathering and resting. We were about 4 blocks from the beach so a perfect 10 minute walk! But we also had access to a private pool and hot tub! The kitchen was fully equipped and large for several cooks to be working at once. Fairly good- sized, fenced yard for outdoor games with plenty of trees for shade.

disappointing - house wasn't maintained

There were a number of issues with the house and for the price paid it was very frustrating. When we arrived the door handle for the bottom elevator was completely broken making that unusable. I reported it but they never came to fix it so in the end my father in law went to hardware store to buy part and fix it himself. The stove also wasn't functioning properly. There were mosquitos in 2 of the bedrooms so bad children ended up coming in our room for a few nights (we never had any windows/doors open). Water heater didn't work properly for 2 bedrooms. Property management company had a plumber come but they said due to tankless system it was 'working properly'. Plumber was only there about 10 minutes. The house likely has too small of a tankless system to properly handle a house that big if it's working properly. The filters for the hot tub were blackened with mildew. We only knew this because none of the jets were working and my brother in law decided to help clean it so we could enjoy it. We reported this to property management company who said they'd let the pool company know. So the house COULD be great, if only they properly maintained and fixed things. We are not picky house guests, have never contacted a property management company like this or written this type of review, but this house deserved it. Too many issues for too high a price. The property management company responded to complaints raised but didn't quickly fix most things and shouldn't have let it be rented in this state. Disappointing.

Hi Dan, We appreciate your feedback. Our team was able to address these issues during your stay. Our team is available 24/7 to our guests. We sent Pest control out right away to address the mosquitos. We contacted a trustworthy plumber to assess the bathroom showers, but he did not see an issue with the hot water in any of the bathrooms. It is common for a tankless water heater to cause cold water for a few second before it gets warm. The plumber arrived before you were at the property, so he was there much longer than 10 minutes. The pool and hot tub is cleaned/treated two times a week. We contacted the pool company right away to inform them of the filters. The pool company had already ordered new filters and were waiting for them to be delivered. We wish you would have contacted us about the jets not working as we would have stopped by to assess and show you how to properly turn the jets on.
