Recently updated home that is pet friendly and perfect for families or groups of friends. It's a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath home with a fully stocked kitchen and access to washer and dryer. Each bedroom has a desk and fast Wi-Fi (1 Gbps) is available throughout the house, perfect for work, streaming, or gaming. The house is located on a corner lot with lots of street parking available along the property line, as well as a 2-car driveway. There is no garage access.
The house can host up to 6 guests, although it may be more comfortable with 4. The front room boasts a 72" mounted smart TV with a reclining couch and loveseat, with plenty of space to lay down and watch a movie.
Pets are welcome! I just ask that you respect the furniture/home and clean up after them in the yard. The backyard is fully fenced and available to them, although the landscape hasn't been updated yet and may have weeds. The front yard is being worked on - the grass is being replaced with clover and wildflowers which are much more water conscious and a better fit for the desert landscape.
But don't worry, Bi-Centennial Park is just across the street (about a 1 min walk) with plenty of green grass to hang out and let your furry friend(s) get their energy out. The park also offers open barbecue/patio areas, baseball fields, a playground, skate park, and brand new pickleball courts!
Also located at the end of Coal Creek Trail, this location is the perfect place to explore some of the outdoorsy parts of town. If you follow the trail, it will take you by the heart of town, underneath Main Street, and all the way up to Cedar Canyon which is known for its beautiful scenery and red rock. The trail is 3.5 miles long, paved, perfect for walking or biking, and passes along 3 different city parks.
Burger Alley (200 N) is about a mile away and has tons of different fast-food options, as well as some local cuisine. Main street also boasts lots of food options, ranging from local burger joints to well-known sit-down chains.
If you're looking to explore a wider area, Cedar City sits roughly 45 minutes north of St. George (near Zion National Park and Snow Canyon), and about 45 minutes southwest of Brianhead (known for its skiing/snowboarding in the winter and mountain biking and Cedar Breaks in the summer). Further east you'll find Bryce Canyon, Grand Staircase Escalante, and Capitol Reef. I-15 also runs right through Cedar City, which makes it a great stopping place between Las Vegas and Salt Lake City.
Attention: This home is inclusive and available to all people, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc. If you are intolerant of other people for these reasons, then this house is not a good fit for you and I suggest you look elsewhere for your stay. I am not trying to be rude, but I have had guests deface simple LGBT decor. I am LGBT myself and it's demeaning to me personally (and the broader community) when this happens. We don't have to share the same views - I simply request that we be sympathetic and respectful to each other. The decor is not overbearing or vulgar. Please be respectful. If you're able to do that - then welcome!! You will love your stay.

We had a great stay. Home was comfortable and the yard was perfect for my dog. Home was clean, beds were comfortable has everything you need if you decide to cook. We had an excellent stay.
Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Property was clean and spacious, very home like feel! Was super easy and loved the clean spacious rental space. Sure you could critic small things but it was 100x better than a hotel... would definitely stay again
We had a great stay; we were there visiting our daughter at SUU and house was very clean and organized (loved the labels for everything in the kitchen). The house had everything we needed and close to everywhere we wanted to go. Would defiantly stay again.
This was the perfect stay for my daughter, fiancé and 2 dogs. The house provided us with everything we needed. The dogs had plenty space to run around the backyard, there was plenty of kitchen utensils for cooking and more than enough space we needed for our weekend getaway. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area again.

About the host
Hosted by Jordan
Born and raised in Arizona, I moved to Cedar City for college and obtained my Bachelor's degree from SUU. My degree is in Business Management, but I currently work as a software developer. I enjoy motorcycling and gaming, and I've recently gotten into 3D printing and hydroponic farming. I run this VRBO by myself on top of my standard full-time job, other than my cleaners who do a great job at keeping the place up and running.
I remodeled the interior of the property by myself, teaching myself the necessary skills as I went along. It may not have been a perfect job, but I put a lot of time, energy, and care into creating a better living space that I now get to share with other people.
All-in-all, I'm just a guy trying to live his best life and help others do the same.
Why they chose this property
Cedar City is a gorgeous place in between St. George and Brainhead. I enjoy this specific neighborhood because of its proximity to the end of Coal Creek Trail and the local park (with patios/grills, open grass fields, baseball fields, and skatepark). Following Coal Creek Trail will take you through the heart of Cedar City and all the way up to Cedar Canyon. It is also bike/pedestrian and pet friendly.
What makes this property unique
This property is a comfortable stay perfect for families and friend groups alike, whether you're just passing through or looking to stay and explore the area.
