Reviewer Comments: We paid over a thousand to stay here, we didn't expect to have to buy our own toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body soap, literally anything we need to use.

Friends Getaway

Checking in and out was easy. The condo was nice. Although, the rooms were much smaller than the pictures revealed them to be online. I listed the number of guests staying in the condo which was 6 adults including our ages, and only 3 washcloths were in the room. The towels and washcloths were not fresh. They were used and unraveling. I called and they brought three extra washcloths the same day. The description says the guest room has a full size top bunk. It’s a twin with a full size sheet, and has a drop in the ceiling right above the bunk making it difficult to sit up. The air conditioner worked great and wonderful kitchen area. The blackout curtains were a plus. The Cabana Cafe was an A+. We ate there several nights and enjoyed everything we ate. The view was nice and we enjoyed the pool. The walk to the beach was not bad. We didn’t have kids. The elevators were a little slow. Parking was good. The beach itself was congested, but overall we still enjoyed our stay!!!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit next door are heavy smokers. All that awful smoke comes through the air vents right into this unit. It was so bad we had to tape all the vents over and keep the patio door open all the time to have fresh air. I would never recommend this unit for non smokers. (It is funny how they have no smoking signs on this unit).

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Ariel Dunes 5-6 times in the past few years and love the property, location, etc. This particular unit needs a few updates. The living room rug needs replaced (stained and very worn), the main tv is old and doesn’t accommodate Netflix or any other streaming. Also, the master mattress needs replaced as it drops in the middle.

Beautiful view

Our stay was ok the view was of the beach was beautiful. The only problem was that maintenance crew was working in a condo above us that was constant noise. I wish we was notified ahead of time that maintenance was going to be fixing the inside of the condo.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The size of the condo was great. The decor was beautiful as is the balcony view. The kitchen was well stocked. The building had great access and was in a good location. The balcony seating was adequate. This condo would definitely be on my list to rent again except for a few major factors to me. While the bathrooms and other areas were clean upon arrival, the floor was so nasty if you left your shoes off for even a few minutes your feet were black and gross feeling. There is no way it had been mopped anytime recently. The master bed was torture. It is completely worn out and beyond due for replacement. Not being able to rest well on vacation is a big deal. There was also the annoyance of not being able to have the AC below 72 which made it even harder to sleep some nights even with the fans. With a few improvements this condo would be a repeat renter for me.

We had an amazing stay, it was so easy to check in and out. The property was easy to get to, the view was amazing and getting to the beach was just a quick walk. Can’t wait to book again in the future!
