Schlechtes Apartment " Orlando" in zentraler Lage

Die Lage des Apartments ist gut. Das Apartment und die Anlage sind in einem schlechten Zustand. Wir waren im Dezember 2018 2 Wochen im Studio Orlando. Es ist mit sehr lautstarken Innenraum - Klimageräten ausgestattet. Ein Klimagerät ist in der Küche am Fenster so montiert, daß man kein Fenster öffnen kann. Eine Dunstabzugshaube gibt es nicht, so daß man nicht kochen kann, ohne das alle Gerüche ins Schlafzimmer ziehen. Das Schlafzimmerfenster läßt sich aber nur mit viel Kraft ca. 20 bis 30 cm nach oben schieben. Ein uralter Eisschrank springt alle 30 Minuten an. Er macht soviel Krach, daß wir Nachts mehrfach geweckt wurden. Der Fernseher ging nicht. Übelriechende Kopfkissen wurden ausgetauscht. Der angepriesene Grill im Poolbereich ging nicht, da der Zünder defekt war. Alles, was mit dem Studio und der Anlage zu tun hatte, hat definitiv keine Freude aufkommen lassen. Ansonsten war der Urlaub in Florida schön. In unmittelbarer Nähe hatten wir uns andere Apartments angeschaut, die wesentlich besser sind, und bei denen das Preis -Leistungs Verhältnis stimmt. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war schnell und unbefriedigend. Alle Mängel wurden damit abgetan, daß es sie gar nicht gibt. So die Antwort der Vermieterin. Studio Orlando - nie wieder!

Toller Aufenthalt in Fort Myers

Wir waren im Oktober 2018 eine Woche im Studio Orlando in der Villa Barra. Die Informationen die wir im Vorfeld erhalten haben waren super, sodass wir keine Probleme hatten unsere Ferienwohnung schon nach kurzer Fahrt vom nahegelegenen Flughafen RSW zu erreichen und zu beziehen. Das Apartment war ausnahmslos sauber, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Der Check in wurde durch die Hausverwalterin am Morgen des Folgetages durchgeführt, sie hat uns gut informiert über Ausstattung und Funktionalität des Hauses. Sie war auch bei Rückfragen problemlos mobil erreichbar. Die Küche ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet, weiterhin sind Duschtücher sowie Bettwäsche vorhanden. Klimaanlage in Küche sowie Schlafbereich ist vorhanden und funktioniert einwandfrei! Weiterhin gibt es eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner welche auch funktionieren. Zum Haus gehört ein toller Pool mit Erholungsbereich (Sonnenliegen, Tische), hier steht auch ein Grill, den wir jedoch nicht genutzt haben. Der Poolbereich ist immer absolut sauber gewesen, wir hatten eine tolle Zeit dort. Im Haus war es ruhig, man wurde nicht durch andere Mieter gestört (5 Parteien). Fussläufig wäre sogar ein Supermarkt (Publix) sowie kleinere Fast-Food-Läden (u. a. Subway) erreichbar. Im Land der Autos sind wir jedoch überall hingefahren, was die Lage des Hauses auch anbietet. Man ist schnell in Cape Coral, Fort Myers Beach, Flughafen, etc... Der Check out wurde wie vereinbart am Tag der Abreise persönlich von der Hausverwalterin durchgeführt, sie hat sich erkundigt wie es uns gefallen hat und nach Mängeln oder Ärgernissen gefragt und uns verabschiedet. Das Florida4you-Team ist per E-Mail und Telefon gut erreichbar, Anfragen werden schnell beantwortet. Wir sind rundum zufrieden und sprechen eine klare Weiterempfehlung aus :-)

Convenient to downtown, enjoyable front porch with rocking chairs, ample parking, nice kitchen

Positives noted above. Negatives include low ceilings in bath and bedroom (in places), uneven floors, poor artificial lighting, poor TV reception, and--the biggest problem--rodents. Both mice and rats. On the first night mice knocked to the floor packaged food and ate through a loaf of bread. Another night they rattled their box trap at length while they were dying of poison. One afternoon late we spotted a dead rat against the bedroom baseboard just a few feet from the bed. The owners are aware of course and trying to fix this problem. They have employed two pest control companies--the representatives of one would come regularly to check the rat traps in the attic. Manager Charity handled everything with professionalism and friendliness.

Schönes Apartment in Zentraler Lage!

Wir hatten zwei sehr schöne Wochen im Studio Orlando. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Die Villa Bara verfügt über genügend Parkplätze und liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Die Poolanlage ist sehr schön und mit ausreichend vielen Liegen bestückt. Ein Supermarkt und auch Fort Myers Downtown sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Erreichbarkeit der Vermieter und der Verwalter vor Ort war selbst über die Feiertage zu jeder Zeit gegeben. Als kleines Manko sehe ich die Hellhörigkeit des Hauses und die fehlende Möglichkeit das Badezimmerfenster zum Lüften nach dem Duschen zu öffnen. Insgesamt hatten wir einen super Urlaub und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Kommen gerne wieder.
