Newly remodeled and decorated. Beautiful cotton linens and towels. A well equipped full size kitchen to cook meals in. New LG washer and dryer in a shared laundry room.

Be a short two blocks from the center of all festivals, shopping, dining, nature trails and marina. Mount Dora has many exciting things that it is known for...Festivals, top rated small town in the USA, Harris chain of lakes, large mouth bass/crappie tournament fishing, multiple fresh water springs in close proximity, biking & hiking paths, pickleball, tennis, lawn bowling, and a public pool heated year round.

Beautiful days end with a breathtaking sunset at an outdoor restaurant or from our lighthouse at Grantham Point. You will be at the center of it all and living like a local. Come fall in love with a town that has kept its roots in History.

Clean, cozy, and convenient.

This place is adorable and has all the amenities you could want. The bed is comfy too. And the best part is it’s right by all the action in downtown historic Mount Dora! We’ve stayed here before and look forward to staying again. The owner, Suzanne is next door and she was helpful when we had a question about the tv otherwise she respects your privacy.

A real jewel

The two units in this house are amazing. The decor is awesome. The location is perfect. Just a couple of blocks to downtown Mount Dora and the palm island park which is a perfect location to watch sunsets. Every thing is furnished and top of the line. The owner is hands on and is rightfully proud of the property.

Adorable apartment

The apartment is in a perfect location just a couple blocks from downtown and within walking distance to the boardwalk. It was immaculate and adorable and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful time. It took us a minute to find the driveway tho, which is on a side street, but once we found it, there was no issue with parking. I highly recommend this rental.

My Husband and I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. We then raised our family in the historic Village of Garden City on Long Island, NY. When looking to move back to Florida; we knew we didn’t want the hustle and bustle of South Florida.

We had family in the central Florida area. While spending time here last at vacation rentals, we fell in love with the quaintness, friendliness and beauty of Mount Dora! Because we spent the last year living in vacation rentals we are tuned into what works and what doesn’t when hosting guests.

We hope you come and enjoy the embrace of what old Florida is all about and the comfort of a beautifully decorated space to call home.

Why they chose this property

This property immerses you in the historic district and local living at it’s best. You have an easy, short walk to downtown, marina, parks, hiking trails, biking, lake, lawn bowling, pickle ball, tennis, boat tours, Segway tours and festivals. Live music and sunsets are just blocks from you on any given day. Mount Dora Transit is an extended golf cart that also does pick-ups and deliveries anywhere in the historic district for free (they work for tips). You also get local history of our charming town.

We also provide amenities that make it so you can enjoy all the special events that take place on a seasonal calendar for the area. These include portable chairs for events, swim towels, plastic drinking glasses, water bottles to hike with, picnic throw and a backpack cooler.

Living in the historical area gives you the uniqueness of living in a resort without the fees! There won’t be a day that isn’t filled with fun, breathtaking experiences, and friendly new faces.

Besides everything that is walkable you also have other experiences that are a short drive. These include Public heated year round pool, many fresh water springs, Apopka Wildlife Preserve, golf, several Outlet Malls, Disney, Universal, water parks, Airboat rides, and many other small towns. The exploring is limitless!!!
