This was truly an amazing cabin in the woods. It was cozy and very clean and had everything we could possibly need. We went for my wife’s birthday just to relax and enjoy the outdoors and we loved every minute of it! We took advantage of the fireplace and enjoyed the fire pit too. We would definitely recommend. Lesley was very friendly and accommodating and her communication was excellent! Thank you for the great stay!
Our stay at this cabin was great! The location is convenient to Brevard and Hendersonville. Lesley was a wonderful host and was very responsive. Will definitely be planning another return.
For our adventures that included time cycling and mountain biking around and within the DuPont State Recreational Forest - as well as time spent in both Hendersonville and Brevard - this location was perfect. Specific to the property; it was comfortable and it’s rustic charm was perfect for our family. The property was well-appointed and clean. We would absolutely stay here again.
The property was exactly as advertised. Host was responsive and very thorough, and the cabin was immaculately clean and had everything you would need for your stay. An awesome experience all around.
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It was a good size for the teens to have their own space while we relaxed on the first floor. We loved that it was a 3 minute drive to the water falls and other short drives to get to town or places to eat. Home was very clean with plenty of supplies.
This is just what we were looking for on our trip to DuPont to see the falls. Everything we needed, all the creature comforts and so close to the park.Great instructions from the host made things very easy.
Everything was great. The cottage is awesome, communication was great, everything was clean, location is great… we were thrilled. Even the shower water pressure was top notch.
Perfect spot for our quick getaway. Close to hiking this cabin offered everything we needed to unwind from life. Four wheel drive may make it easier to navigate the driveway to the cabin, but we were able to manage in our SUV. Highly recommend staying here.
This is a very nice cabin in the Woods a short distance from the main road and the beautiful towns of Brevard and Hendersonville North Carolina. We really enjoyed many nearby waterfalls especially this time of year with the colorful fall foliage.
Quiet, cozy cabin just off the road, with porch in the tree canopies. Perfect spot for a girls weekend with our mom. Very clean, neat, and comfortable! Would love to go back!
Everything was absolutely perfect about this cabin! So clean and organized. Beds were very comfortable after a day of hiking. It was very cozy and the perfect spot for a short getaway. Lesley was super helpful in answering questions about local restaurants, grocery stores, and hiking locations. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again!!
Our stay was wonderful! The cabin was the perfect size for my small group. Enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and family fun times around the table and firepit. Lesley was extremely responsive whenever I reached out. We would definitely stay here again. 100%. Only negative comment would be that the driveway is a bit rough when entering but overall, so very happy with our stay.
The home was wonderfully furnished, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. It wasn't just the location we enjoyed it was the great thought providing us with the comforts of home. Games, books, internet. This wasn't just a rental it was a warm home we were able to share for too short a time. Thanks so much.
My wife and I enjoyed our visit to this cabin. It was conveniently located nears parks and trails. The cabin was as described in the listing and the property manager was very good at getting us checked in and making sure that everything was satisfactory. Beds were comfortable and the furnishings worked well. The only negative about the location was that it was much closer to the highway than we expected and the road noise made the back patio deck less enjoyable than we hoped. Overall, it was a nice place that I would recommend to others.
Everything was so cute and well labeled. Everything was clean and organized. It’s even cuter than the pictures! We were escaping the Charlotte heat, and this was the perfect place to do that. We LIVED on the back porch. Go hiking, come back on the porch. Go to dinner, immediately back to the porch. Morning coffee with the sunrise…on the back porch. Just lovely.
We loved staying here- stayed 3 nights in mid-January. It snowed on our first night in, which was magical for our very southern children. The loft was very cute and the kids liked sleeping there. The cabin does not have a dishwasher so I recommend bringing disposable plates and utensils. The nearest grocery store was about 20 minutes away which we expected- this cabin is pretty remote but very close to hiking and waterfalls! :) I also recommend a vehicle with 4WD because the road to the cabin is very steep and bumpy, especially with snow! The host was accessible and responded quickly. They had games available for nights in as well.
Recommended excursions: Corky's Dawg House in Brevard and Moonshine Mountain (snow tubing) in Hendersonville. We spent a day in Asheville as well and had fun walking around downtown and visiting the science museum. Ate lunch at Hi-Wire Brewing (games for kids, a flight, and several food vendors). We tried to drive some of the Blue Ridge Parkway but it was unfortunately closed in segments due to the weather.
Recommendations for the host: Look into the main TV- it had trouble staying connected to the internet for streaming (no cable) although there is so much to do outside we weren't worried about it too much. The internet worked great on our phones and the upstairs TV, though!
It was a great trip and we were happy with the whole experience. Would visit again.
