About this property

Vintage-style lakeshore cabin - right on the lake with dock, flat lake access

Great, cozy cabin on large, Upper Clam Lake. The southern part of Clam Lake (Upper Clam Lake) is 1,338 acres with a range depth of 14-15 feet and is connected to Lower Clam Lake - both of which are part of the Clam River Flowage - with a total acreage of over 1,700 acres! The lake offers many recreational opportunities including swimming and water sports, ample fishing, a sand bar and an island (both areas are popular for hanging out) and there are 2 bars/restaurants that you can boat to! The cabin has 3 bedrooms/one bath and we are just a few miles from the town of Siren. We are also near the Gandy Dancer State Trail which is great for biking, walking and running in the summer and great for snowmobiling in the winter. Also nearby is access to miles and miles of dedicated ATV/snowmobile trails, many great bars/restaurants, lots of shopping and many other lakes with public access.

Relaxing and Beautiful
Very clean and adorable cabin. My father, husband and nephew enjoyed 6 days of fishing, swimming, boating and relaxation. Easy to get to and had everything we needed to cook and enjoy a week of fun. Will definitely be back.

Fourth of July on Clam Lake
Clam lake is a very nice lake. We were able to rent a pontoon to explore the lake. We brought our paddleboards with us with the two kayaks that were provided all four of us were able to enjoy multiple days on the lake. The cabin is cozy and had everything we needed. All communications with Diane and Wade was good and they responded quickly.

About the host

We are an active couple and lovers of the outdoors! We love sharing our little slice of heaven (also known as lakefront in Wisconsin) so that others can enjoy the area.

It is so fun to hear stories from guests about their own experience with the area and a few families that have stayed with us have been coming back to the same cabin (our cabin!) for 50-60 years!

So whether it is somebody's first time to the area or they have been coming back for decades, we hope you enjoy our family cabin as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We both grew up with family cabins "up north" and wanted that experience again. This is a true northern Wisconsin cabin and while it has indoor plumbing and a full (but small) kitchen, it still retains the classic, vintage charm of a cabin built in the 1940s including the original wood floors and original wood paneling walls.

What makes this property unique

Small but well equipped cabin built in 1940. This cabin has the original wood floors, original wood paneling on the walls and the original bedroom doors (which don't lock) and kitchen cabinets. If you like vintage charm, this is a great place to rest your head after a day on the lake!
