Stunning Vacation Home in Charming Town of Grand Lake - 5* Reviews - Hot Tub

Moose Ponds is an exquisite vacation home located within the town of Grand Lake with a hot tub. Guests can drive or walk to gourmet cuisine or down home cooking in local restaurants, and shopping in town is always a delight. Moose Ponds is right around the corner from both. Built in 2006, the home offers an abundance of amenities and discriminating designs, including an open, airy floor plan with cathedral ceilings - perfect for socializing. Large Decks are perfect for outdoor gatherings with family. Lots of games and a nice indoor and outdoor sound system. Seven night minimum.

After a day of mountain activities, guests can gather in front of the stone fireplace to relax in comfort. The hot tub, and the large shower with a double shower head available in the master bath, offer a peaceful respite. The home also features a gourmet kitchen perfect for preparing a meal for a large group. Guests will also enjoy a generous living room, dining area and a great room on the lower level that includes surround sound and a game area.

The home is tastefully decorated with fashionable furnishings, luxurious mattresses, beautifully appointed wood floors and ceilings, copper sinks and appealing/interesting art.

Your family and friends will make special memories during their vacation at Moose Ponds that can be remembered while relaxing on one of the two decks. The views from the decks of the two small ponds where wildlife frequently linger are spectacular.

No rental pets. However, we own a dog and occasionally bring him up. While our cleaner does an excellent job of removing all dust and dog hairs, please do not rent if anyone in your party has dog allergies.

Take just a short drive, and guests will encounter extraordinary Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the most beautiful places in the world. Featuring over 150 small lakes and 450 miles of streams, first-time visitors and local guests will be enchanted. Adam Falls, a magnificent waterfall, is also within camera range with just a 10 minutes hike.

Grand Lake is special any season. In the summer, it offers the best boating in Colorado on the state's largest natural lake, and Shadow Mountain and Lake Granby are only minutes away.

Guests may bring their own boat or rent from one of several facilities.

When the snow flies, the snowmobile trails are just steps away from the door at Moose Ponds. For a true Colorado skiing experience, Winter Park Ski Resort is an easy 40-minute drive. Ski Granby Ranch is 20 minutes away and is one of the best family resorts around.

Please enjoy your stay at Moose Ponds in beautiful Grand Lake, Colorado.

UPDATE: Moose Ponds was not affected by the October, 2020 fires.

Mooseponds
This was our 3rd time at Mooseponds and we have always enjoyed our stay. The home is in a quiet, private area yet close to everything. Great floor plan and well-stocked with supplies.

Moose Lakes
Our trip was great. The house was perfect. The first night only the moose visited the lake. The location is great for entry into RM National Park. It was convenient for cursing the town of Grand Lake and some local hikes. A great time was had by all. A suggestion would be to use a good quality cotton sheet on the beds and replace the teflon pans when they get scratched.

Beautiful location
This is an amazing property. Sitting on the gorgeous deck feels like being in a treehouse. While you can see cars going in and out of the RMNP off in the distance, it’s not annoying. Otherwise you are surrounded by trees! We loved watching the hummingbirds at the feeder. The indoor space was perfect. The open dining, kitchen and living space was wonderful. We cooked alot and always found what we needed. We drove into the park (don’t forget your timed entries!!) several times, went kayaking on Grand Lake and rented a pontoon boat! Absolutely be sure to check out Grand Lake Lodge! The views are amazing. You can eat at the bar which is a lot less expensive than the dinners! Don’t hesitate to rent this property!!

I've been renting this home since 2006 when we bought it new. We take excellent care of it and I pride myself on being responsive to my renters.

I do everything possible to maintain my 5* reviews and try to do everything possible to insure a quality vacation for our customers.

Why they chose this property

We bought this house as a place to enjoy family time. It is laid out perfectly for family time and sleeps 8 people well and has 3 full bathrooms. The decks are large and we liked the open layout of the kitchen, dining room and living room. A short walk up the hill behind the house leads to a sweeping view of Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake and surrounding mountains. We decorated the house with some very nice items including artwork. We like the double showerheads in the master bath and added a nice etched art shower door to it. Really tough to find a house with some space around it, so close to town and the entrance to the national park.
