The Wild Horse Cottage is located in Ocean Pines MD. The name pays homage to the wild horses that roam freely on the beaches at Asateague Island (19mi / 30 min drive).Ocean Pines is quaint woodsy community that is just outside of the main strip of OCMD. Ocean Pines is a quiet serene place that gives thefeel of amountain house but is close enough to the beach to smell the salt in the air (9 mi /10 min drive). If you love the beach but also appreciate a bit of space and quiet this is the place for you!
The Wild Horse is an A-frame style home that has the feel of warm and inviting cottage. Upon arriving you'll notice the large front deck that offers outdoor seating and dining & grill as well as outback fire pit. There is4 bedrooms ( 1 master king bed, 2 queens, 1 full bed in the loft),2 bathrooms. Full kitchen, living room, and indoor wood burning fire place.
As part of the Ocean Pines community you'll have access to the pools, parks, and other amenities as well as free beach parking pass at the Ocean Pines pool club in OCMD. Other notable activities and destinations include: localgolf courses, Asateague National Park, Ocean Downs Casino, the town ofBerlin, OCMD dining/ board walk/ go cart track.
Pools there are 5community pools with varying day pass fees per person.
Most Days Pools are on a schedule of 10am - 6pm
The Wild Horse Cottage is the perfect mix of mountain feel and beach vibe. Come stay for a while and get some much needed Vitamin Sea!!

Anee and Bob were wonderful hosts with a beautiful home! Our stay was convenient, clean, comfortable and located within a quiet neighborhood that accommodated our family. The home is cozy and full of charm! Bob and Anee are very attentive hosts. Everything we needed for a short beach getaway was provided including linens, dishes, Mr. Coffee, towels, toilet paper, dishwasher and laundry detergent. The home is only about 10 minutes to the Ocean Pines beach club. We had a great time and highly recommend!

The Wild Horse Cottage won’t disappoint.

The Wild Horse Cottage was perfect for our family.The home and yard had plenty of room for everybody and was just as described. If you're looking for activities outside the beach, Ocean Pines has a lot to offer. Check out their events page. If you find yourself here on a Saturday, the farmers market is a short walk away. Just book it and enjoy your stay!

Wonderful Stay at the White Horse Cottage

We had a delightful experience during our recent stay at The White Horse Cottage in Ocean Pines. The charming decor and carefully selected linens truly impressed us, and the cleanliness of the cottage met our high standards. One of the highlights was the access to the beach club, which came with a pass and added significant value to our stay. Additionally, the ample parking spaces and convenient electronic code for entry made our comings and goings effortless. Although we regret not being able to utilize the firepit or cozy fireplace due to time constraints, we were thrilled to know we had access to these if we had the time. The owners are wonderful and very communicative - you won't regret staying here!
