Our stay in Bolzano was wonderful. Upon arriving our host Katejan met us on time and gave us a tour of the apartment. He then spent time showing us a detailed map of the Bozen region and recommending places for us to visit. We then went and had a great time in the exploring in the mountains, seeing wildlife, and biking.

Die Wohnung war nicht das, was wir gebucht hatten.Wir waren sehr enttäuscht!

Der Eigentümer der Wohnung hatte für die erste Nacht noch einen fremden Mieter, d.h. die Wohnung war überbelegt. Der Balkon war zugestellt und zugemüllt, sodass wir ihn nicht gebrauchen konnten. Das Gleiche galt für die Küche/ Wohnzimmer. Die Schlafzimmer und das Bad waren sauber, wenn auch sehr viele Sachen nicht dahin gehörten.Wir glauben, dass das keine Ferienwohnung ist, sondern als Wohnung vom Eigentümer genutzt wird. Unserer Ansicht nach, ist dies keine Ferienwohnung, in der man erholsame Ferien verleben kann.

FeWo in Bozen

Unsere recht spontane Reise nach Bozen führte uns diesmal in eine schöne Ferienwohnung in Altstadtnähe. Sie ist sehr sauber und funktionell eingerichtet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Verkehrsanbindung sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ein kostenloser guter Parkplatz ist fußläufig erreichbar. Wir haben mit den vor Ort verfügbaren Fahrrädern die Gegend erkundet. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war unkompliziert und sehr nett. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Zentral gelegene Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist gut für Erkundungen in Bozen und Umgebung geeignet. Die Bushaltestellen in verschiedene Richtungen sind nahe, auch Einkaufsgelegenheiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Auch das Zentrum Grins und Bozen kann man zu Fuß erreichen. Für die Anreise mit ÖPNV benutz man vom Bahnhof die Linie 10 A bis Münzbergweg. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war gut, uns wurden Tipps und Empfehlungen gegeben, sehr nette Gespräche haben wir mit ihm geführt. Die Wohnung an sich ist nur zum Übernachten und Essen geeignet, die Wohnküche ist nicht so gemütlich, um einenTag dort zu verbringen. Da aber Bozen viel bietet, ist das auch nicht entscheidend. Auch ist die Küchenausstattung nicht so üppig, es reicht gerade für zwei Personen. Insgesamt war die Wohnung sauber und gepflegt.

Netter Vermieter mit hilfreichen Informationen

Nach kurzem warten auf die Waschmaschine funktionierte sie einwandfrei. Wurden sehr gut informiert wann die Waschmaschine ankam. Die Waschmaschine wurde vom Vermieter persönlich vorbei gebracht. Die Parkinformationen waren sehr hilfreich. Vermieter hat persönlich gezeigt wo die Parkplätze liegen, bzw. Wo Lebensmittelläden sind usw. Kleine und schöne Wohnung die zentral gelegen ist aber vom Strassenverkehr hat man nicht viel mitbekommen. Wohnung für ist für kurze aber auch lange Zeit sehr empfehlenswert.

It could have been perfect...

First of all, the flat close to the center of Bolzano is high standard for Italy, it was very clean and nice furnitured. Beds are very good and the location is perfect. However, several amenities have not been as described or were simply missing. We stayed in Bolzano due to a work exchange and booked the flat because it should have internet and a parking site. Both were not available. The host could solve the internet problem after some days with a portable router which worked fine. The parking site mentioned in the flat description revered to the streets in front, however parking in Bolzano is never free! So you will get a ticket for parking there. Otherwise the furnace was not working, the washing machine was gone, we did not find the safe and there was no hair dryer. The host tried to solve the internet, parking and washing machine problems and was very nice and communicative, but it only worked for the internet and partly for the parking (there are some free parking possibilities around Bolzano, but minimum 30 minutes away from the flat). All in all, if you stay only for a few days and come without a car, the flat is perfect. Otherwise (especially with kid or baby), it might be difficult. After three weeks, we were happy to head home again.
