It’s quaint, practical, and is located in a cute, quiet neighborhood. My family and I wanted a place close to Silverwood Theme Park. This place was PERFECT! David’s communication was excellent! Check in was effortless! The house has its little quirks, but I feel like that just provided even more character to this house, and truly made us feel like we were at home.
Thank you for provided such a great place! It made our little vacation complete.
Wonderful older neighborhood with walking distance to downtown.

Great location. Old property. Few amenities
We booked the rental for the weekend of the CDA triathlon. The location of the house was a quick 7 min bike ride to the race and about 5 min to the downtown area. Great location!
The house is old and the renovation done to it was just ok. Cabinets and drawers in the kitchen are really old and had holes on the bottoms, vanity light in the bathroom was coming off the wall, closets all had flimsy curtain rods. The tub drain had trouble draining all weekend. Doorknobs were old and loose.
The back yard looked nice but the fence that closed the backyard to the alley had an open section... No gate, just easy access to the backyard from the alley which felt a little unsafe.
The house came with a Keurig but no pods. In and not a regular drip coffee maker as initially communicated. We asked and the owner/managers somewhat reluctantly did bring by a box of pods. Then we discovered while there was hand soap and dish soap but no shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Also no beach towels or any beach chairs/toys. We figured it wasn't worth asking for any of those items and bought our own toiletries.
Lastly, the electrical couldn't handle the AC and microwave running at the same time and set of the breakers. I'm comfortable enough with it so I asked the owner/manager if that's all it needed was a reset. We went back and forth a few times on which breakers. I finally ended up turning off the main breaker to the house, waited a minute and started it all up again. That worked. That said the owner/manager should have offered to come by and check it out or reset it all. That never came up in the text conversation.
Beds were comfortable, the street was quiet and the owner/manager was responsive (but not proactive). We got a "first time renters" discount and even with that, I don't think I'd stay at this house as it is. It just needs a few finishing touches and small updates to be a nice getaway home.
