About this property

The Sniderhaus with beautiful sunsets and trails nearby. A large dock.

This beautiful home sits in front of the Potagannissing Bay on Lake Huron to watch freighters go by. The bay's waters are rich in freshwater fish. The home is close to ATV trails and hiking trails. You can ride SxS directly from the house.Two golf courses nearby. The best sunsets you will ever see. There is a large dock on the property for boaters. The home has 3 bedrooms,1 king bed, 1 queen, and 2 twin beds and 2 full bathrooms. Features a laundry room with washer and dryer. There are 2 kayaks for your use. The waterfront is rocky so bring your water shoes. The dock does have a ladder off the end and is sandy on the left side of dock. Approximately 3 feet deep at dock however, the water levels change. Firepit in the front yard with chairs and swing. There is also a rustic cabin on the property to sleep another 8 people comfortable. The cabin will be rented automatically after you book with more than 6 people. If you do not book with more than 6 people there will be an extra charge for cabin request, cleaning fee and extra people fee. So total 14 people.

Tessa was so great to work with! We planned a father/daughter group trip to the island and everything went great. Our stay was beautiful and views of the lake were awesome. The house had everything we needed and the sleeping arrangements gave each family some privacy. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great. We had a 35ft gooseneck trailer, and 4 other truck and trailers. No problem with parking. Host was very easy to work with. Highly recommend.

This property is absolutely beautiful. We saw deer in the driveway and spectacular sunsets on the water side. We all loved the interior too with beautiful taxidermy we were so in awe of! We were lucky enough to see the northern lights too!

We had an amazing vacation at Sniderhaus. The property was beautiful. We were able to bring our pontoon and side by side. The house and cabin were well stocked and very clean. The host Tessa was easy to communicate with and uick to respond to questions. We will definitely be back!

Guest was unhappy because 9 rolls of toilet paper and 6 large trash bags were not enough for 7 adults. Also add 6 smaller trash bags. Or guest would have gave rating of 10/10. These amenities are described on the website when booking.

We enjoyed the property and stay very much. The pricing was a little higher than last year, but worth it because we had so many people this time. We worked it out and I appreciate the way Tessa explained the costs and how she was kind about it. The home was nice and fit our needs very well. The cabin was so cute! Our stay was everything we hoped for! The driveway was large and accommodating of our trailers with a full loop around. The outdoor patio was perfect for grilling and hanging with friends. We really loved the large shoreline for sunrises and sunsets. The kids fished and ran around in the outdoor spaces. The kitchen was very well stocked with any cooking items you could need and there was a lot of counter space for meal prep. Thankful for a kind host, clean space, and room for all 11 of us to he together!

Awesome location. Wonderful sunset views, solid dock with breakwall was great for parking jet skis. Main house was quite modern and well equipped kitchen and massive TV. Would certainly consider renting again. The cabin was a bit dated, but functional. The large deck on the back of the home was very useful for dining and relaxing in the shade and sheltered from the lake breezes. We used it more than I expected. Quite close to Yacht Haven for launching boats or jet skis.

The house and property were very spacious and comfortable. All the beds were very comfortable. The house was clean. There is a large deck on the backside of the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing that would have made our stay even better would have been if there was a deck on the lake side of the house. Communications with the host were excellent. Returned messages rather quickly.

Great access to the lake and a wonderful stay!

Friends and I went for our annual week of fishing and off roading. This was by far the nicest place we have stayed in the island! Great location, ease of accommodating trailers and boats, nice dock and an awesome view!

Perfect Family Getaway

Great location for a family 4th of July trip. Loved having our boat docked on the property and access to kayaks. Well stocked kitchen and beds were very comfortable. This was our first trip to Drummond. We will definitely come back.

Family Trip to the Island

We had a wonderful stay, everything you need is a short drive away and its so peaceful. It was also nice that our whole group could stay together for the week without having to rent multiple house's.
