It doesn't get more classically Maine than this turn-of-the-century fishing cabin, scenically situated on the lakefront of Webber Pond in Vassalboro. Here on one of the best lakes for bass in the country, you can spend your vacation fishing, swimming, and falling asleep to the beautiful call of the loons.

This atmospheric cabin sits on the south shore of Webber Pond in the China Lakes region of Maine, on a private cove that's ideal for swimming. You'll find a boat ramp on the other side of the lake, antique stores and ice cream shops nearby, and spectacular sunsets and stunning night skies right outside your door.

The cabin is rustic and full of simple charms, including details of wood and stone that will delight outdoor enthusiasts. A window-lined sunroom faces the lake, offering a lovely spot to sip your morning coffee and play cards in the afternoons. There are two decks and a hammock to enjoy on summer days, a country kitchen and a gas grill to assist you in preparing your fresh catch, as well as board games, high-speed WiFi, and a smart TV for your evening entertainment.

My favorite place to be..
This is our second time at the cabin. It’s hard to explain how much it feels like home to us. The cabin itself is cozy and rustic.. like going back in time, but with tv and wifi. It sits on the most pristine pond with sunsets that you have to experience to understand. I’m sad to see some folks dealt with issues of cleanliness because of Vacasas short staffing.. but they’ve stepped up because the place was clean and well stocked with towels, linens and comfy blankets.. some of my favorite activities were coffee on the front deck while listening to the plethora of bird calls and going to sleep listening to the sounds of the forest. Truly an enchanting place to be. Till next year… ❤️

Cute rustic cabin for family r&r
It was a last minute 2-night getaway and we didn’t know what we’d find but we’re delighted with the location and views. We were a party of 8 including a baby and children and there were beds, linens, and activities for everyone. The children spent the day occupied by the paddle board and floats in the water while the adults enjoyed the deck and fire pit. Unfortunately no water was provided as it should have been per the listing and the kitchen sink needs attention as it seems to be clogged and drained extremely slowly making cleanup a lengthy process. The cabin could also use a hood through cleaning. We expected rustic, but the floors did not look like they’d been vacuumed or cleaned especially in hidden away corners. But overall we loved this place and greatly enjoyed our stay.
