Nice cabin for a secluded getaway. Very quiet and great view of the mountains. The house was clean and well set up for guests. There's quite a drive if you want to go to a town for shopping and restaurants, but a super location for a peaceful retreat.
The lodge was perfect for spending time with our family. We loved the hot tub, outdoor fire pit, grill, and on the cold evenings the indoor fireplace. The lodge was very clean. The view and especially the sunrise over Table Rock was spectacular.
This home is absolutely gorgeous!! View from balcony of Tablerock was stunning! The Host was very helpful and responded fast. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.
We loved the house and the location. Wish the lights were brighter and the hot tub hotter but other than that it was great! Very clean, enough towels, communication great, main level bed super comfy! Will be back again! Especially to see the finished outside.
We stayed at this property for a weekend, coming to SC for a wedding. Comfortable beds, new hot tub (!), beautiful kitchen with quality silverware, dishes, and glassware. WE appreciated the selection of board games, really nice outdoor space with great decks. Would recommend this property and only wish we had more time there!
Very nice and clean. Beautiful and surpassed my expectations. Looked just as the pictures did. Convenient to everything around. Easy access up to the cabin. The owner was very helpful and had fast response time.
The property was in the woods with a view of the mountain. The house was very clean and the owners were extremely accommodating. The house has everything you need to enjoy cooking, watching a movie or just hanging out. It’s about 40 min. from several different towns like Brevard and Saluda for hiking, zip lining, white water rafting etc. And close enough to Asheville for a little more city feel. We did it all! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
The location of this property was lovely. The cabin is set on a hill in the woods and led itself to a peaceful retreat. My husband and I were looking for some quiet time away and this property offered that.
The property is in need of some basic maintenance. Many lights are burnt out, sliding doors do not lock, the main floor toilet seat was broken, the garbage was not collected and the floors could use a good cleaning. The property has a great deal of potential but needs some maintenance.

Thanks for your feedback, it is extremely valuable. The toilet seat & light bulbs have been replaced since your stay. Trash is collected weekly, apologies if it was a burden during your stay!
This beautiful home has plenty of privacy and lots of space. The beds we used were comfortable. The kitchen was great and the view was beautiful.
Cons: an unexpected hot tub maintenance man visit was very disconcerting as we were relaxing and, the isolated nature of the location, caused stress.
Owner responded promptly but a heads up would have been expected.
Also lack of blinds, curtains, etc. on large windows allowed excess heat in and no evening privacy. There was also a lack of curtains in the loft bedroom. I wish they were there (especially when the hot tub guy made a surprise visit.)
All in all I’d stay again as the location was great for hiking too.

Karen- The property is located on private acreage with no immediate neighbors for a mile in any direction. The large windows are meant to display the beautiful view of Table Rock and surrounding foliage.
As for the hot tub, it is routine and customary for a service technician to come weekly and maintain chemical and levels and cleanliness for optimal guest enjoyment. The hot tub is one of the main attractions of the house, especially after a long day of beautiful hiking in the area! We want to make sure it is in perfect condition during your stay. Thanks again for your visit.

Overall wonderful
The cabin needs a little attention. Beds downstairs were not made, there are many lights in the kitchen that need replacing. The deck is very bare, except for a table and chairs. This has so much potential. Towels, were all downstairs, toilets needed to be cleaned.
We enjoyed the mountains and all the area has to offer. It is very beautiful and very quiet.
Once you arrive, you will understand! This place has a secluded feel but is just a short drive to many hikes, attractions, and amazing small towns. The house is spacious, quiet, and well appointed.
This is our family home. While we try to keep cooking basics in the kitchen (i.e. coffee, oils, spices, and filters) we cannot guarantee everything. The closest grocery store is 20 minutes, so please come prepared. Feel free to use pantry/ fridge items or discard any items no longer needed.
The driveway can be dark at night, please drive up carefully!
We are building an outdoor woodshed featuring a paved path, fire pit, and hot tub. While this area is under construction, guests will not be bothered while renting. We only do work when the house is vacant. The hot tub is complete and in working order. We ask that guests be patient while we work to finish the landscaping!
