Absolutely amazing host and property 😃 The beach is really 5 mins away. Kristi is the most amazing host,her mission is to make sure you enjoy your stay! If you are going to Galveston you need to stay here. This property is less than 30 min from almost everything you want to do on the island.

We had such a great stay. I was amazed at the little thoughtful details. This place has everything. It was super clean. Owner is really sweet. The outdoor shower is great after the beach. Easy walk to Seawall and the beach. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Comfy beds. We will stay here again.

Convenience, Comfort and Charm

This little hidden gem was a perfect place for our long weekend in Galveston. Just a couple of blocks away from the seawall, we were minutes from restaurants and beach access, walking or driving. Kristi had supplied cold drinks, water, snacks, towels galore, and toiletry essentials. She has prepared a wonderful notebook with details about your stay plus lists of restaurants and things to do in Galveston. The beds were comfortable and the water was hot - even in that handy, ultra-hip outdoor shower! Located in a neighborhood and off the main roads, we enjoyed quiet nights, even over the weekend. The property has wonderful history and charming decor. Kristi was an excellent host and has thoughtfully considered so many details! Thank you for outstanding hospitality, Kristi!

Amazing!

The property is way more spacious than the pictures show! The beds are all on the second floor, along with a TV, huge closet and many movies/board games provided by the host. The living room/kitchen area are on the bottom floor. The staircase has a lift, in case you’re not able to climb, although we couldn’t figure out how to make it work. You could easily fit 8 people, and there were even complimentary waters/snacks in the fridge. Kristi was a wonderful host! The distance and price were perfect! Book here for an amazing stay :)

Why they chose this property

This home was built in 1906 and has been historically preserved. I love the notable touches and the charm of not only this neighborhood, but the spirit of the island. The rental that you will be residing in is located behind the main home (garage apartment). It is nestled warmly and safely behind the bustle and it truly a hidden gem.

What makes this property unique

We are a 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and nightlife. There is an outdoor shower, a 17.5" grill, outdoor patio area, washer/dryer, wifi, tv/vcr, kitchen with all amenities, and about everything you could ever need to be a home away from home.
