Settle into a private Lake Guntersville cove with the water, boathouse, yard, and sunset views right outside the door. Guntersville Getaway is a single-level, 1,900+ sq ft waterfront home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and sleeping space for up to 9 guests. Lake Guntersville is a 67,900-acre Tennessee River reservoir known for bass fishing, boating, wildlife, and tournament travel.

The layout works well for families, fishing crews, couples, and small quiet groups. There are 2 queen bedrooms plus a bunk/twin room with 5 twin beds, an open living and dining area, full kitchen, washer/dryer, strong WiFi, TV, books and toys, and lake views from nearly every room. The home was remodeled in 2017 with an added master suite, updated kitchen and laundry room, granite counters, remodeled bathrooms, and a stone fireplace.

The lake setup is the reason many guests choose this property. The private boathouse has deep water year-round, a fully enclosed guest boat slip, electric lift, fish cleaning station with fresh water, 7 cubic foot freezer, outlets for charging, and sturdy steps into the lake. Fish from the bank or pier, keep your boat on site, swim in the cove, or spend the evening on the deck after a day on Lake Guntersville.

Outside, the one-acre lakefront yard gives guests room to spread out. Enjoy the lake-facing patio, fire pit, grills, Adirondack chairs, string lights, sunset views, and quiet wildlife watching. Bald eagles, osprey, great blue herons, ducks, turtles, and other lake life are frequent visitors. The cove setting feels private but is still convenient to Guntersville, Gunter's Landing, the Yacht Club area, downtown shops and restaurants, golf, marinas, ramps, Cathedral Caverns, Lake Guntersville State Park, and Huntsville day trips.

This is a pet-friendly, mobility-conscious lake house: one level, no interior stairs, step-free front entry, a flatter yard than many lakefront properties, and grab bars with sturdy shower seating. It is not advertised as ADA-certified, and the lakefront, dock, boathouse, fire pit, grills, and shoreline require active adult supervision.

Best fit: guests who want a real lakefront stay with private water access, boating and fishing infrastructure, comfortable indoor space, and a calm cove base on Lake Guntersville. The home is non-smoking, children are welcome, housebroken pets are considered, and the maximum occupancy is 9.

This house was clean and comfortable. I liked that two dogs were permitted. My son’s dog and my own. The back yard was beautiful and all three bedrooms had its own patio doors allowing private entrance and exit. The deep water dock allowed family fishing every day. We caught a lot of fish. Plenty of parking was available for boats and trailers .Very convenient location to dining and shopping . Thank you for allowing our family to enjoy your lake house.

We had an awesome stay at Waterfront Guntersville Gateway. Everything about the property exceeded our expectations. The location on the lake is perfect and made it incredibly easy to get out on the water. The boathouse was excellent and made launching, tying up, and storing our boats super convenient.The house itself was very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were great and everything felt well maintained and thoughtfully set up for guests. There was also plenty of parking, which made things really easy for our group and our boats.The host was truly above and beyond. Communication was quick, helpful, and they made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.Overall this place is an 10/10. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place on Lake Guntersville.

Family fun!

Always love visiting Guntersville and this trip was no exception… we enjoyed staying at this nice home right on the lake. One level and plenty of room. Easy to find and the owner is very easy to work with. Check in was a breeze. We had ages from 3 months to 63 and everyone had a relaxing fun time.

Perfect location with beautiful views

We absolutely loved this rental property. All the windows allowed us to see the gorgeous lake view from every room. The house was very well stocked and located close to local dining and shopping. Christmas Weekend Trip

We came down from Knoxville to visit with family for the holidays. The house was just right for our needs. We were able to cook a big meal and host family. Our dogs loved the windows and watching the ducks. The water views are gorgeous. We will plan on retiring when it’s warmer!

Great Lake Place

We loved this place! Comfortable house right on the lake. This property has a dock with slip that visitor can use. This enabled me to skip loading/unloading my boat everyday for use. This was especially helpful when it rained! This makes it great for fishing trips... We definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing home, property and boat house!

My family and I stayed for a few days and had a great time! Beautiful home on a perfect lot! The only thing missing is a private boat ramp and the only reason I even mention that is because we have a couple of large fishing kayaks that we weren't able to use but we had the bass boat too so it worked out fine. There is a public boat launch about a mile aways. Highly recommend staying here!

Great house with a great view!

House was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a quiet place on the lake where our dog could swim and we could enjoy the lake. It was all that and more. The house had such a clean smell when you walked in. Floors were spotless and the couch was actually vacuumed! Even though there were houses on each side, the house was situated on the lot with tons of trees. We never saw anyone else. The sitting area by the lake was divine! We will definitely return when we are back in the area.
