Everything about our stay was a dream! The hosts were wonderful. Quick to answer any question. Lovely to deal with. The place was amazing! So many great family memories were made during this trip. We will definitely be back here again. My youngest grandson with us said “Gramma, this was so much better than a hotel!” When are we coming back? Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

This is a great place for a family vacation. The property is very clean and well maintained. The owners have done several upgrades that make it a very comfortable place to stay. We have been going here annually for several years and are never disappointed with this house.

Family time

This was our second stay. It is the mid point for my children and grandchild to have time together. The kitchen is well stocked, games for the grandkids and enough space for everybody to spread out. We enjoyed sunsets on the back steps and morning coffee on the front porch. Can't wait to come back again next year

Picture Perfect Lancaster Property

We were a group of 13, 6 adults and 7 kids ages 10-3 years old and we all had an amazing time! The house was perfect for families, activities to do, perfect set up for 3 families. Cows in our back yard while the kids played on the playground, horse and buggies riding back and forth in front of the house on Sunday morning. The kids had a blast and the parents were happy! Thank you again for the hospitality!

Harvest Drive Home

The home was just as described. Our host was very responsive! The home was in a great quiet location! Very roomy and had all the amenities we needed and more! We're sorry we didn't have time to start a fire in the fire pit.

A Greeting Card Group spent 3 days visiting on the buggies and buds shop hop. With the large table & the ability to extend the boards, we were able to have enough room for the 9 of us to make cards when we were not shopping. We also enjoyed the great octagon island to hold our food and snacks, as well as, the ability to unwinding on the beautiful back deck and enjoyed the cows in the field behind us and the dogs on the property beside us. We love coming here and so enjoy the time away from our busy schedules to fellowship, and laugh. I hope the group can continue coming, but the increase in the price may eventually become a stumbling block for us.

Amazing!

This is our second time staying at this home! We stayed two nights to be near the sight & sound theater and have some family time. We had an amazing day enjoying the backyard and cooking meals together and ending the evenings around the fire. The sunsets are gorgeous and the kids loved the playset and visiting with the puppies next door. Our family consisted of parents, siblings/spouses and all the grandkids. There was plenty of room for all and every age enjoyed the time at the home. The home is beautiful and has everything you need.

Excellent Experience!

A group of us of various stayed for an event we were attending at the convention center, we couldn't have picked a better place! The house, views & location were amazing and we really got to experience a totally different vibe of Lancaster staying on the country side instead of in town. Our host was excellent, I highly recommend staying here and would come again.

Quilt Retreat

Our quilt group has been coming to this home for the past 3 years for our annual quilt retreat in Lancaster. The home is perfect for us. Spacious and clean. The host is excellent. We can't wait to return next year.

Family weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay in your clean and cozy home. From ages 2-63 we could not have asked for more. We had plenty of space to spread out. The kids enjoyed the swing set, the cows, and the toys in the basement area. We all enjoyed how peaceful the whole property felt.

Great vacation home for a family gathering

This is a wonderful home to stay in for a family gathering. The house was clean and bright. The rooms were very nice. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware, pans, and cooking utensils. There's a great front porch area with rocking chairs to relax in. The deck out back off the kitchen has two patio tables and chairs. We had a fire in the fire pit one night and roasted marshmallows and made s'mores. It was a wonderful family vacation.

Lovely!

We had a wonderful stay at this house in Gordonville. Used the fire pit. Played cards at the large kitchen table. Had a good night‘s sleep In the large bedrooms. Even played ping-pong in the garage. In the morning we sat on the front porch to watch the horse and buggies go by - truly a lovely stay!

Family getaway

we were so happy to be able to get our family of 8 adults and 6 children (ages 18months -10) together. This house had plenty of room of all of us. The kids enjoyed the playground and basement rec room. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were a nice size and comfortable. It was so peaceful. We enjoyed rocking on the front porch watching the horse and buggies go by and sitting on the back deck watching the cows as the kids played. We would stay here again

Christmas in Gordonville

If you are looking for a place to have a family reunion , then look no further. Our experience at The Esh home was far beyond our expectations. The house was clean, comfortable and everything we needed was readily available .My Grandchildren want to go back to "Grandma's house" They had so much fun. The house is right in the heart of Amish area and is within a few minutes from all attractions. Thankyou so Much for a wonderful vacation

Jake and Becky and their children live about half an hour away from this house. We built our cape-cod home in 1990 and lived there until the fall of 2009 when we moved to Honey Brook for mission purposes. Our home is built on an acre of the family farm. The farm, still in the family, is owned by Jake's youngest brother and borders the back of the yard and Jake's parents live next door. Our favorite part of this home is the safe and peaceful neighborhood surrounded by Amish homes and farmland.

Why they chose this property

Nestled in the countryside of Lancaster, we border generational family farmlands. We enjoy the large and peaceful backyard for dinner, games, and just relaxing together. Within minutes to many of Lancaster County's best attractions, it is easy to make short excursions that everyone in the family can enjoy!
