Kinghorn's Garden is an exclusive holiday home with a spacious garden at the foot of Chapman's Peak in Noordhoek.

The 170 square meter house has a special atmosphere and fits perfectly into the approximately 6000 square meter garden.

Enjoy a fantastic view of the Chapman's Peak massif and the Atlantic Ocean or stroll through the cape-style garden with countless protees and fynbos. Find peace and relaxation at the large pond, on the observation deck and in the sauna or refresh yourself in the pool (3m x 2m).

From the holiday home you can walk around 10 minutes to Noordhoek Farmvillage with numerous restaurants and pubs, including the well-known food bar, a bakery, many handicraft shops as well as a coffee roaster and an ice cream parlor. Also in the immediate vicinity is our local winery, Cape Point Vineyards, one of the most beautiful wineries in the entire Cape region with a spectacular view and a colorful weekly market. Two large shopping malls are just a few minutes' drive from Kinghorn's Garden.

Just 30 minutes from Cape Town and the Cape of Good Hope, Noordhoek is an ideal base for exploring the entire Cape region. Whether boulders with the penguins, the Constantia wine route, the world-famous Chapman's Peak Drive, Kirstenbosch - you can reach almost all destinations within a few minutes.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful house with a magical garden

We couldn't fault Kinghorn's Garden. The house is extremely well appointed, comfortable, bright, spacious and secure. The garden is a delight, teaming with wildlife, and with mesmerising views, especially as the sun goes down. Photographs do not do the property justice. The location is excellent, within striking distance of everywhere, and most particularly Noordhoek Farm Village and its excellent restaurants, shops and entertainment, which is within walking distance. Above all, would like to thank Antje, Ree and Andreas for thier helpfulness and responsiveness. We also loved Jessie and Toffee, the resident dogs, which often called to say hello! We have been coming to Cape Town and its surrounds for many years, and can honestly say that Kinghorn's Garden has been our best experience to date.

Großes schönes Haus im tollen Garten

Alles im Haus, was man braucht. Wenn etwas fehlt, wird sofort reagiert. Antje hat uns gut betreut und Tipps gegeben, die unseren Urlaub abgerundet haben. Lage in Noordhoek ist ideal, ruhig und zentral. On Top ist zweifellos die Sundowner Terasse, besser und schöner geht nicht. Die Hunde sind kuschelig und reagieren sofort auf fremde Personen oder Geräusche. Alarmanlage ist so überflüssig. Andreas hat mit seinen Mitarbeitern einen super Garten gezaubert. Und.....wenn man Glück hat, erwischt man die Eule, die die Rabbits jagt.

Real Find

The property is in a fantastic location with mountain views and very quiet. Walking distance to the Farmvillage coffee roasters, juice bar and the excellent Foodbarn. Lots of nice people in the area! Antje, the manager is gracious and available. The house is older, but very comfortable. The two large watchdogs are amazing and the Black rabbits so much fun to watch. The kitchen is too sparse, my only complaint. We really loved it and will be back!

Beautiful Setting and home.

Spent 4 nights here beautiful place and gardens. The home has everything you need fully equipped kitchen ( well stocked with plates, bowls and glasses), gas bbq large decking to sit on to enjoy the afternoon sun. Sun lounger with cushion on decking and by the small pool/Jacuzzi. Both bedrooms ensuite -only negative is one bathroom has a bath with a shower attachment but now where for you to hang the shower head up and no shower curtain (due to water sorted bath was unable to be used so the shower was essential) Felt like home and would love to return. guard gogs on site both Rottweiler friendly but can be intimidating if you are not a dog lover!!

Wir waren schon in meheren super Lodges und Hotels in SA, aber dieses Traumhaus war unsere schönste Unterkunft. Perfekte Lage, super großes Grundstück mit einer Vegetations wie im angrenzenden Nationalpark. Das Interior sensationell schön. Kurze Wege zu den besten Restaurants auf dem Weingütern in Constantia. Die schönsten Sonnuntergänge auf der Veranda der Sauna. Ganz besonderen Dank nochmals an Anje und Thomas für die perfekte Betreung vor Ort und bei der Abwicklung. Vielen Dank auch an den Eigentümer!!

Peaceful and Rejuvinating Retreat

This is a great place to stay! You have all the luxuries of 5 star but in the comfort of a warm home environment. We absolutely loved spending time by the pool and deck soaking in the natural beauty of the fynbos gardens and mountains that surround you. What a beautiful and peaceful retreat!!

Paradise Found!

The pictures of Kinghorn's Garden are gorgeous and when you see them, you think the house and the gardens couldn't possibly be better in person. Well, they are. This property will take your breath away. The house is gorgeous, the gardens are spectacular, and the overall setting makes for a perfect holiday in Cape Town. Antje and Thomas are warm and responsive from the minute you make an inquiry. We especially appreciated Antje's advice about activities for families with young children. Kinghorn's Garden's location was absolutely perfect for us because we wanted to balance the beach with local restaurants, activities for kids, and the city of Cape Town itself. We could have eaten at the Farm Village every meal of every day, and what a joy to WALK to it from the house. The house itself had everything we needed and we were very, very sad to say goodbye after our stay there. We will come back next year and can't imagine staying anywhere else.

traumhafte Ruhe, Erholung und super Lage

Das Haus ist ein absoluter Traum und es fehlt an gar nichts. Leider waren wir nur 5 Tage da aber haben es um so mehr genossen. Die Lage ist eifach super, es hat einen super schönen Blick auf den langen weissen Sandstrand wo man mit den Pferden in den Sonnenuntergang reiten kann. Auch ist es ein super Ausgangspunkt in alle Richtungen, wie Kapstadt, Chapman's Peak, Cape Point, auch Wein degustieren kann man sehr gut in der Nähe etc. Vom Haus aus muss man unbedingt ins Farm Village das nur wenige Minuten zu Fuss entfernt ist. Da gibt es eine Bäckerei mit super Leckereien und fantastischem feinen Brot und und und... Unbedingt muss man dort auch im schönen Foodbarn Restaurant essen gehen und es eifach nur geniessen. Vielen lieben Dank an Antje und Thomas für die super Betreuung, die vielen guten Tipps und dass wir 5 unvergessliche Tage erleben durften - wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

A perfect spot

Really enjoyed our stay at Kinghorns Garden. Brilliant, bright and airy house with an excellent garden, great views and plenty options for relaxing inside or out. As well as great birdlife in the garden and surrounds we also had a visit from a Western Leopard Toad, a Tortoise and a Grey Mongoose! Excellent location only a few minutes drive to Chapmans peak and barely 15mins walk to Cape Point vineyard and picnic site. The village farm is 5mins stroll and has brilliant options for breakfast, lunch and dinner at Cafe Roux or the Foodbarn. Also have to say thank you to Thomas again who welcomed us warmly and looked after us brilliantly during our stay. Would definitely recommend Kinghorns Garden as a perfect place to stay in Noordhoek which is a perfect place to stay when visiting Cape Town. Enjoy!

The perfect "home away from home": Ideal um Ruhe, Natur und einen phantastischen Ausblick zu geniessen; gepflegt, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles sehr gut von Thomas & Antje organisiert, die immer ein offenes Ohr und viele Tipps bereit haben... Das nur 5 Gehminuten entfernte Farm Village bietet unterschiedliche Restaurants vom Pub bis zur gehobenen Küche und sehr nette Geschäfte sowie einen Kinderspielplatz... Viele Attraktionen wie Chapmanspeak Drive, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Boulders Beach, Cape Point, Vineyard, Winelands etc. sind nur einen Katzensprung entfernt... Traumhaus, Traumgarten, Traumlage ...

... die Überschrift ist nicht übertrieben. Das Haus bietet sämtlichen Komfort, um sich vom Alltagsstress zu erholen und einen wundervollen Urlaub zu verbringen. Der Garten ist wundervoll angelegt. Beim Gang zum See lässt sich immer wieder Neues entdecken. Noordhoek ist nicht weit von Kapstadt entfernt. Mit dem Auto ideale Ausgangslage. Vielen Dank für die tolle Betreuung vor Ort! Klasse.

Fantastic stay

We had a really good experience at Kinghorn´s garden. Very nice villa, perfect location, quiet and beautiful. It´s ideal for families, friends, couples...everyone must enjoy such place. Hallo zusammen gut wieder angekommen in der Schweiz, sind die wunderbaren Ferien in Südafrika noch immer präsent bei uns allen. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Euch und danken nochmals ganz herzlich für die Gastfreundschaft und das Engagement für uns, das war super!! und viel mehr als wir erwarteten – klar übertroffen :-) Danke vielmals Das Haus hat sehr viel zu bieten und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt, ebenso sicher und gut aufgehoben an diesem wunderschönen Platz. Mit einer Tasse Tee durch den schönen Garten zu gehen und seine Gedanken ziehen lassen - traumhaft. Draussen zu duschen und die Sonne im Gesicht zu spüren - herrlich. Sich in der Sauna zu wärmen und anschliessend im Jacuzzi kurz abzukühlen – pure wellness. Im Liegestuhl zu liegen, die Sonne zu geniessen und die Vögel im Garten zu beobachten - einzigartig. Vor dem Kamin zu sitzen bei einer Tasse Kaffee mit guten Gesprächen - gemütlich. Das Haus hat Platz um zu träumen und bei sich selbst anzukommen, ein wunderbarer Ort. Für frischen Kaffee, und feines Brot kann man zu Fuss gehen in die Foodbarn Bakery. Der Mensch dem das gehört, kann sich glücklich schätzen, so etwas wunderbares zu besitzen und ein grosses Dankeschön, dass er es mit uns teilt !!!! Schönes Haus zum Relaxen

Anfang November haben wir 8 Tage in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht. Wir sind herzlich von Antje und Thomas empfangen worden, die uns auch mit sehr guten Tipps für die Umgebung versorgt haben. Die Villa ist komplett ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, ein sehr schöner Ort zum Ausspannen und Abschalten. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Das Haus ist zentral am Kap gelegen, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen. Wir kommen wieder!

Traumhaus mit wunderschönem Garten

Wir haben 10 Tage im Kinghorns Garden verbracht und waren absolut begeistert. Ein wunderschöner Garten mit traumhaftem Ausblick aufs Meer und den Chapmans Peak. Das Essen im Toad und Foodbarn ist sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr zentral gelegen, um viele Tagesausflüge zu machen. Auch die Betreuung vor Ort war super. Das Kinghorns Garden ist absolut zu empfehlen!

Super Idyllisch!

Ein wunderschönes Refugium inmitten eines traumhaften Gartens. Und super gelegen, da der Ortskern fußläufig erreichbar ist. Die Bäckerei ist nur zu empfehlen! Die Ausstattung im Haus ist prima, es fehlt einem an gar nichts. Wir haben uns stets sicher gefühlt, da man außer Windrauschen und Vögeln nicht viel anderes hört. Perfekt zum Entspannen und die Seele baumeln lassen!

wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und den urlaub genossen. das haus ist schön ruhig gelegen mit einem herrlichen garten und trotzdem sind alle notwendigen loctaions wie restaurants und einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der nähe.

A Little bit of paradise

My husband and I rented Kingshorn over Dec, Jan 2010 and loved every moment. It is perfectly situated and just a quick stroll to the Deli and restaurants. The house and gardens are beautiful even the sauna has sea views. It truely is an amazing place and suitable for all ages. Hope to visit again Patrick and Angie

Pre Christmas chill out

Kingshorn Garden was fantastic! We had the most relaxing time. If you open up all the glass walls the house instantly becomes part of the extensive grounds and the glorious Fynbos at the foot of Chapmans Peak. The wildlife is something else, even the guinea fowl! It has all the facilities you will need including for that essential braii on the patio and the sauna (which must have some of the best views of the Cape) whereby you can cool off in the pool or the outdoor shower. All the conveniences for laundry, internet access, satellite TV (so we could watch the news back in the UK of all the snow!), two very comfortable bedrooms, both with en-suite and a extensive open plan living space. The village of Noordhoek is within walking distance and the Food Barn in the farm village is a must, some of the most delicious meals we have ever had. It is also very well located for the Mall and all the sites of the Cape Peninsular.

Traumhaus mit wunderbarem Garten & perfekter Lage

Die Beschreibung trifft perfekt zu, zusätzlich erwähnenswert erschien uns die schöne Sicht und die prima Versorgung mit Reise- und sonstigen Tipps durch den Vermieter und die lokale Betreuung vor Ort. Auf jeden Fall ist dieses Haus eine Reise wert und bietet perfekte Erholung im Urlaub. Die Lage ermöglich eine Vielzahl von Ausflügen und Sehenswürdigkeiten ohne lange Autofahrten. Da wir unseren Aufenthalt in Kinghorn's Garden erst für die letzten Tage unserer umfangreichen Südafrika geplant hatten waren wir leider nur zu kurz vor Ort, um den Garten und das Haus lange zu geniessen. Wir waren im südafrikanischem Winter (Anfang Juli) dort und hatten sowohl die Gelegenheit tagsüber in Badehose den Garten wie auch abends im Hause den Kamin zu geniessen.
