At Brown County Cottage, you can enjoy the best of both worlds—the tranquility of the countryside and the comforts of modern life. The cottage also features a sleeper sofa and two queen bedrooms, providing ample sleeping space for your family or friends. Our cabins are located in the beautiful woods and countryside of Brown County, Indiana. While we provide routine professional pest control and keep our homes clean and well-maintained, guests may occasionally see seasonal pests such as mice, flies, lady beetles (Asian beetles), or stink bugs — especially in the fall and spring.

These harmless insects are part of life in a rural setting. We do everything possible to minimize their presence and appreciate your understanding as part of the authentic Brown County experience!

Nice little place!

Myself and my husband stayed here for a weekend getaway trip! We enjoyed it! Place was clean and super cute inside. It was close to everything and the hot tub was definitely a nice perk! The only thing that would be a negative was that the main road is literally right in front of the cabin but other than that we have no complaints!

Sister getaway

We stayed at the cabin for a sister getaway. It was perfect for the two of us. The beds were comfortable and the cabin is thoughtfully decorated. It is just a short drive to downtown. The hot tub was very relaxing and we enjoyed sitting out on the porch with our coffee. The weather didn’t cooperate but we still had a great time hanging out in the cabin!

Awesome Friend Getaway!

This property was perfect for a girls weekend! The cottage was clean and adorably decorated. The location was perfect as it was only 8-10 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t take full advantage of the outdoors, but would be a great place for a family or friends to walk around and enjoy all the amenities. Such a relaxing and peaceful property! Would definitely return in the future!

Spring Break 2024

We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage. The place was just as we had expected and the pictures were not at all deceiving regarding the size of the rooms. We all said the sheets were some of the softest we had ever slept in and continued to say we would gladly book here again. The location was perfect and the amenities made it even better. Great stay!
