Had a delightful stay.
The kids kayaked and jumped off the dock and fed the 2 ducks that seemed to belong to the neighborhood
I heard one grand child say he wished we could have stayed for 2 more days
We have stayed here twice now for family events at nearby Sand Lake. Location is great. Firepit with wood available. Large kitchen well equipped for preparing meals. It was/is ideal for a getaway. There is no trash pick up there and there is really no place to dispose of trash. It is difficult to not create trash with 6 adults and 2 children.
Our family had a really nice time at this home on the lake! The place was tidy with an amazing kitchen. Some minor cleanliness flaws and quite a few bugs, but nothing that bothered us. We wish there was seating on the porch and a bit safer seating around the fire with kiddos, but the indoors was beautiful and we loved the outdoors overall. We really enjoyed our stay and would book again.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The owner Benji was very nice. The home was large and clean. I have managed rental properties so I am familiar with the issues that might come along with a property. Other than the dock not being usable - this home gets an A. The home provides everything a family might need. Having nice accommodations increases the enjoyment of a vacation.
The house was perfect for our whole family. Plenty of room and Benji was a very attentive host. Anything that came up during our stay he was easy to contact and very accommodating. We stayed in October and the surrounding area and the lake were beautiful. I am hoping to stay again but next time in the summer. Very pleasant experience!

Benji’s Rental
The house itself was fine. Four bedrooms and two baths with laundry room and futon, if needed. Outside was well maintained.
Picture shows a beautiful lakefront setting when, in fact, it is a narrow, mucky, unswimable canal.
We reported property damage, totally our fault. The owner then added a damaged microwave to the insurance claim. It worked fine when we used it. Beware of this if you decide to rent.

The house is exactly as the pictures show. Guests were accurately billed for damage to the home, including a ceiling fan (adult-guest swung a golf club inside the home which is wholly inappropriate and unacceptable behavior). Future hosts beware of this guest and her family.
The house was spacious and clean. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep and small kids to play. The house came pretty well equipped with bathroom and kitchen essentials. Washer and dryer even had laundry detergent. Plenty of towels for showers, and toilet paper and paper towels where provided. The was a little shortage on kitchen dishes to use for eating and drinking. The boat dock is in pretty bad shape and was not sturdy so the kids where not allowed to play one the wooden dock. The map on the website showed the house was on Indian lake but it is in a smaller lake close by so that was a big superseded once we noticed the location was wrong. But we had a great vacation stay and made some wonderful family memories for our annual vacation to see the family.
My two brothers and I with our families rented this house for our annual “sibling weekend”. We enjoyed our stay! Things that I think are helpful to know when considering booking:- my 14 year old spent a lot of time on the two kayaks.- the charcoal bbq grill was on the smaller side, maybe 14” square. It took awhile to make enough burgers for everyone, had to work in batches.- there is no longer a dock like you see in pics - my boyfriend and I thought the queen bed we slept on was just ok. On the firm side, and had squeaky springs. My brother and his wife commented their bed was comfortable though! - there were three weathered wooden benches around the fire pit area to sit. I’d suggest camping chairs for more comfort and flexibility - coming from someone with a bad back. The fire pit itself is nice and surrounded by pavers. - our two tots had fun playing with a few toys available, and the teens enjoyed the foosball table! There were also some board games available such as monopoly, scattegories, and jenga to name a few. - the deck facing the water is nice and big! The seating available is not sturdy though, so I’d suggest bringing camping chairs or other seating for that as well.
